Wow a bit aggressive on her side. I'm curious what was your offer?

I have been told this by the palms that they had over comped me by 1500 dollars in the 10 trips I had been there. This occurred when I asked for a comp for dinner. They gave it to me and said they won't hold the past behind me. I was also told the same thing when I called the Wynn. I did low play the wynn so I can't blame them. 2000 percent seems extreme and what did they offer you and how much did you play?

2000% is meaningless. It could mean as little as $20.00.

I agree. The statement is worthless, meaningless, etc....

Something just off the top of the head by a host.

    Without more detail... well....

Thats when you usually reply "oh well, I guess there's no point in ever playing at your properties then.

If the Players Clubs tell you that you're way minus on your comps try asking one of the pit critters for a comp. We do that a lot and so far we have never been turned down by the pit.

I was told this once by a host at the Mirage. She didn't mention a percentage. I was feeling beat up after the October changes and my EC was super low so I wanted to know if they could cut a little more F&B off my bill. She said she would not have given me what I was comped up front and I should be grateful for what I already received. My thought is Mirage sent me the offer, I didn't ask for it so...oh well. Odd thing is that 2 months later they sent me an offer in the mail for a suite, FB, FP, and limo transport so apparently they keep making the same mistake about my "low play." BTW, I earned over 110K tier credits on that 4 day trip. I'll keep taking them up on any offer that appeals to me. Once the good ones stop, I'll move on to a property that is appreciate of my play. If they comp up front they are taking a chance I will drop a wad at their casino. Gee, it sounds like.......gambling!!!

More likely your hosts math teacher in school was overpaid by 2000%.

I've had hosts say stupid shit like this many times, and like people say, you ignore their property for a few trips and they are sending out offers like old times soon enough.

Well, that's gambling for you. We gamble at the tables/slots. The casino gambles with offers. It appears that they split 10's.

I'm using a discounted room rate offer at mgm this weekend and I am zero playing them this trip. Their offers have been horrible the past two trips. Not even giving me free room offers. So I'm jumping back to CET.

If you no played them and the host was pissed, that's understandable, especially if you used the host to set up the offer.

If you just played normal and it didn't meet the level, the host is a jackwad.

However I question the validity of the entire post. Perhaps some version of this story happened, but there's certainly more to it than we're hearing.
