    Refunding Rewards?

Anyone know if it is possible to refund a reward?

For example: I claimed the Pastry reward at Aria, but I haven't gone to Vegas yet, anyone know if I can "return" that reward to get my LPs back and use it towards something else?

    Thanks

Did you call in and book the dates?

ETA- I just noticed this asked about the pastry. I read it as the room comp at Aria. Once you book a hotel room, they will not refund you the LPs.

Yes you can refund an award as long as you do it before the 90 days is up. If you click on Rewards and then My Purchases in the upper right hand corner, you'll see your reward. Click on the reward and there's a phone number for the redemption centre for you to call.

How do you get a reward refunded?? I have 5 purchased for my upcoming trip but with the 3 per person changes I need to get a few refunded? How is the best way to do that

I am no expert, but doesn't that 3 per person change go into effect on 3/1. If you are going in 10 days, I would think you would be OK.

I used the support.myvegas link. I had the Bellagio lunch buffets bought but had to cancel our Dec trip due to illness. I knew it would be more than 90 days before our new date. They credited my lps back to my account. Hoping to be able to rebuy this for our May trip.

    Refund already 'redeemed' awards

Just wondering... I got the reward for two drinks at the Signature at MGM Grand. Last time I was in Las Vegas, I picked it up at the MLife desk, but when I tried to redeem it the bar was closed and I wasn't aware how long it was to get to the Signature from the main part of the MGM.

I am wondering if it's possible to get the points back from that at this point?

As far as I know as long as the usage period hasn't expired you shouldn't have any problem. Just write support and say that you won't be able to use it.

Unfortunately, once you redeem the reward at the MLife desk there are no refunds and any loyalty points you had spent for the unused reward are lost.

Here is the Terms of Service page on PlayStudio's website:

    http://www.myvegas.com/terms-service-myvegas

And here is what it says about refunds (I have bolded the part referring to the question you asked):

    Reward Cancellations and Refunds
Generally, You may cancel, during the Redemption Period and for a full refund of the Loyalty Points used to purchase it, any Reward that You have purchased but not yet redeemed. Once You have redeemed a Reward, either through the online reservation system available through the Service or otherwise, You may no longer cancel that Reward and You will not receive a refund of Your Loyalty Points. On rare occasions, a Reward will "sell out” or otherwise become unavailable between the time You purchase it and the time You redeem it. If You are, within the Redemption Period, unable to redeem a purchased Reward because of such unavailability, You will be eligible to receive a full refund of the Loyalty Points used to purchase that Reward. If You do not redeem or cancel a Reward during that Reward's Redemption Period, the Reward will expire. Your Loyalty Points will not be refunded to You if You allow a purchased Reward to expire. Some Rewards are of such limited availability that MGM Resorts International may, in its sole discretion, deem them to be non-refundable. Non-refundable Rewards do not have a Redemption Period and therefore may not be cancelled for a refund of Loyalty Points after they are purchased. You are solely responsible for reading and understanding the refund terms and conditions of each Reward You purchase.

    Canceling a Reward

I am trying to cancel (for refund) my reward at the Sporting House and for the life of me, I can't get anyone to help.

I have tried to call the number in the email that was sent. It rings to the NYNY Casino Marketing department who didn't seem to know a thing about canceling the reward and then I have tried to DM the site on Facebook to no avail.

    Any other thoughts?

Can you cancel things that aren't rooms? Not sure...

Go into the game, scroll to the bottom of the screen, there should be a few links (Fan Page, Daily Deals...) and the third is Support...click on that and it will take you to a page where there is a link for a form to submit support requests... Filled out one of these yesterday for BoyzIIMen tix I got before I checked to see if they were even performing. Returned the LP the same day.

    Canceling a Reward

Thanks... Was able to get it canceled through the support page. Took less than 12 hours.

    I appreciate all the help.

    Refunding for unused reward?

We didn't get around to going to the Shark Reef this trip. Do you know if I can get my LPs back? We won't be going for at least another 9-10 months or so.
