Any tips or fun things to do for someone going to vegas on New Years? I go to Vegas about 4 times per a year, but never during New Years. Any tips or ideas would be great!!! I might just sip champagne while playing video poker all night, who knows!!

I've been in Vegas every year for the past couple of years. Here are some tips:

    1) Plan ahead.
No, REALLY plan ahead. Make sure you have a schedule of where you're going and you've got reservations. Restaurants get full, whales bump others who bump others etc. Even crappy places get crowded, so make sure you have a specific plan for the night with adequete time buffers.

    2) Nightclubs will be very expensive.
Entry (just regular entry) was $200 at the Bank last year, and even though we spent $6k on bottle service that was only good enough for 14 in our group to get in, and we had to pay $400 ($200 each) for the other 2. The money was room charged to the computer so it's not like the bouncer was hustling us.

    3) Crowd tilts younger but it's a very friendly crowd that time of year.

    4) Gambling limits go up big time, especially at places like Bellagio/Wynn.

    5) Wherever you have dinner, that's the hotel you're spending New Years at. Don't plan on moving around or hotel hopping until 3am.

The club for NYE will range from 100-200 for the popular ones. There is no need to do bottle service if it's not what you're looking for. The clubs will raise he bottle minimum.
All the clubs will have special artists/DJ guests. Club is so worth it. Tried the strip once but it's like a field of cattle.

Check each club's website for ticket pricing and special guest info. Sometimes girl's tickets are a lot cheaper.
For example, XS is having AVICII. guys tickets are 150, girls 50.

Book tickets asap as they will sell out

    Google search NYE Vegas

you will find a bunch of deals, a lot of clubs have a $200 per person ticket price, but come with an open bar package, just look around for them.
