I am a newbie who is heading to Vegas in 10 days. I am really only looking for gambling coupons as I am travelling alone and don't plan to hit any shows in my brief time there.

With that said, I do plan to buy the ACG book because I know I will be down at Ellis Island for a couple of meals/gambling sessions.

The LVA/MRB doesnt appeal to me as it appears to have similar coupons for a much higher price.

What other tips/advice can you give me to maximize my minimal bankroll? :)

Have you checked the "new Signup " offers on advantageplayer.com Viva Vegas to see who is offering free slot play for joining their slot club. I know TI is offering $10.

    Check out this site

    http://www.advantageplayer.com/lasvegas/
On the left click on Players Club Sign up bonuses--these will truly stretch your dollars.

Hooters, Tropicana, Cosmopolitan have match your losses programs that are an incredible values (ie you lose $100, you get $100 in freeplay) Hooters you must come back over 3 days (Ellis Island you will have to go twice); Trop will be part now, part for a later trip.

    https://slotplaycoupons.com/
The above link is another great deal, especially for new players. You buy $25 voucher online; it will give you $50 in play at each Trop/Palms if you are new player, $40 if you already have a players cards. Do this at Trop; then do their lose up to $200 match.

Downtown tends to have lower limits at all times of the day--lots of ACG coupons for down there.

On the strip, limits are lower during the day, and at older casinos.

Don't be fooled by penny slots. You cannot play for a penny--.20 minimum, typically. And the bonuses do seem to come much more when you play more $.

We set a $ to gamble each day; when it is gone, it is GONE & we generally do not touch the next day's funds...one trip DH was out of money with a day and a half to go!!!! NOT fun. You can always wander & see the free sights (also on the advantage player site).

The Westin has a $50 offer that works like the cosmo's $100 offer. We both won without it but didn't go back to see if available on second day like the Cosmo's was.

Win cards are another way to stretch your budget. Look up their websites to see where they are offered. Did it at Trop and also got a $10 mp when getting my players card.

    More good suggestions, crim!

Wasnt sure if the Westin was still doing their losses deal.
WIN cards are available at Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, Circus Circus & 4 Queens. Luxor & Excalibur were offering them, but they aren't listed on the WIN site anymore...but can't hurt to ask.
Go to the players club or cashier (depending on the casino) to inquire about them. For $10 you will get $15 in non-negotiable chips. (or $20 for $30, depending on the casino; CC has BOTH & you can buy both!) You will also get a $1 tip bet for the dealer. Go to either BJ, craps or roulette & play an even money bet. If you win, they will give you a REAL chip AND you still get to keep/play your fake chip! They only take it when you lose. Great deal.

Thanks for all the great info. Just to clarify, I am a newbie at using the coupons, not a newbie to gambling in general :)

I will post a trip report when I return
