If you have seen "KA", what did you think? Is it true that it is best to sit some rows back from the stage? Thanks
We saw it. We liked it. We sat about 15 rows back and it was a perfect view. I think being too close would be tricking, as a lot of the action happens up high on the big rotating/flipping stage thing, so you'd be looking up quite a bit. I wouldn't over-spend for high end seats at this show, as I think it would be just as enjoyable from almost everywhere. My wife still says this is her favorite cirque show. But you're going to get as many opinions as there are posters, because everyone likes different ones. To me, Ka has the most story and perhaps the least pure acrobatics of the cirque shows.
When I saw it, I was about halfway back, maybe more like 30 rows up. I feel like I could/should have been further back than that, as there is so much that happens above the audience (not on the stage, but literally out over the audience) that if you were too close you would have to strain to see (or possibly not be aware of). The show itself was pretty cool, although there were some VERY slow parts where I caught myself drifting off. But the majority of the show is very cool to watch.
Two different show perspectives. If you have the choice and it is your first time sit towards the center of lower level. Up front you may miss some of the guys running down the idles but you can really appreciate what they are doing.
I saw ka a few years back and lived it. Didn't have plans to go so we didn't have tickets. Went to concierge and go tickets the day of the show. Ended up in the second to last row. The seats were great because you could see everything going on above and to the sides of the audience. I think for that show I would sit towards the back again.
I've seen KA' lots of times...it's one of my favorites. I've always suggested folks sit in the Upper Rear which, like most CIRQUE Shows, probably provides the better view however... the first few rows in center upper rear section 202 at KA' are now set aside for VIP/comps. The night of the Show, if they haven't been taken, THEN 'we' can book them but...who wants to wait til showtime to see where you're sitting so... I suggest the last back row R in center Front Section 102 or... as close to Row AA as you can in center Upper Rear 202. I've sat close...I think it's too close. The KA' showroom is so impressive, sitting further back lets you enjoy the entire view experience. Call the box office for tics 1.866.774.7117
No one better to ask than GREGRIO for seating suggestions, he is the true expert around here. As for my opinion of KA, and I seem to be in the minority, it seemed slow and boring, and I longed for more upbeat music, and more circus action. YMMV.
Many thanks to Greg! I just booked section 201 over the phone for tonight's show We have a Vegas/cirque virgin with us so this is going to be spectacular!
YES YOU ARE! 'nhcris' cuz you meant SECTION 202. lol Not to confuse you now... considering your condition and all but, what ROW did ya get?
Oh my gosh, I am a goof today. We were in Section 202, Row AA. Absolutely the best seats in the house. I brought a friend who Has seen many Cirque shows and one who is a Cirque Virgin and they both loved it. It remains my favorite Cirque and if possible, I enjoyed it more the 2nd time, in part due to the great seats. Thanks Greg for being such a great resource for us and always steering us right. I wouldn't think of booking a Vegas show without checking for your advice first!
LOL!...yeah, you couldn't ask for better seats. In those seats, ya gotta 'make like a boy scout' and... be prepared. In the Pre-Show you 'could' have one of the warriors jump right up in front of you!
