My wife + I had our first child 7 mos ago.
We will not be going to Vegas for some time.
My wife said, "Honey, I need a night out !"
    So..........her mother will babysit.......
She got a Sunday Nite Comp'd room at Tropicana A.C.
We have never stayed there overnight.
    We're usually at Borgata.
We have played at the Trop since "The Quarter" was built.
    Nice addition.......however....
I wouldn't know which room or Tower to ask for ?
Are any newer than others ?....Ocean views ?
    .
I see they have an indoor and outdoor pool....and beach front lounges.
    Any comments ?
    .
    Thanks for any info ---
( I did a search on this board -- but mostly Tropicana LV came up )

It states 4pm check in ---
Have you checked in prior to that time ?
I know it's hit or miss in Vegas --
Just wonder if they are stiff on this ?

2 solid Italian Restaurants..... Carmines (the Quarter) is amazing, and Il Verdi (the Trop's Italian resto) is a retro, mafia inspired, marble walled, dark, amazing joint. Kudos to the Trop for having 2 great Italian joints... Most properties don't have 1.

I like dining at Cuba Libre as well at The Trop. I have only stayed at The Borgata myself, but what I do when the room is not ready is just check my bags with the Bell Desk and just enjoy the property until the room is available. You will be right on The Boardwalk so there will be plenty of gambling and things to do if you are there early and the room is not ready. You might as well get there as early as possible to make the most of your getaway.

If the hotel is not busy, chances are you could luck out and get a room right away.

What's the point of having this web site if you are advising to go to another site?
My bro likes to play at Trop, I didnt like it. It's way out there, too long to walk. Never ate there. 2 casinos I would not go to again are Hilton(now a local's watering hole) and Trop.
