In checking out different restaurant/bar options, I came across a deal at PBR at PH. Sunday night, 9-midnight, open bar for $10.

Has anyone done this, and if so, can you tell me what the restrictions/rules are? I assume they limit which types of drinks you can get? Is it so crazy busy you can't get near the bar and end up getting 2 drinks all night?

It sounds too good to be true, so my cynical side says it must be.

Haven't been to that but The Rockhouse in the IP had the same thing. You have to follow them on Twitter to get the deal. I know it covers beer and drinks like rye and coke but not Vodka and Red Bull.

On their website they have it listed on Wednesday nights, only with valid college ID...

Just looked today and they show Sunday night as well, for Twitter followers, which I can easily become.

Also, does the twitter ad mention whether or not you'd have to have a college ID?

There appears to be two different promos, Wed is college night where you can get open bar with college ID, and Sun you can get open bar by following them on Twitter. The Sunday one has nothing to do with college from what I can tell.

Just called them. Just retweet whatever they tweet for the day, show the hostess, and it's on. Draft beers and well drinks.

just got back from my vegas trip, and we did this on sunday the 17th. they didn't even ask to see our twitter on the phones. guy just said he trusted us. and there are two promotions: one is college night on wednesday, and the other is the twitter night on sunday.

it was dead until about 11pm; we got there at 9pm right when the open bar started. included are well drinks and i think basic domestic beers like bud or coors. i was drinking rum and diet cokes all night; my fiance was drinking gin and tonic. let's just say i don't remember how i made it back to my hotel room :evillaugh. just kidding, i remember parts of the walk, but my memory ends at the paris walkway to bally's (we were staying at bally's). but i do remember riding the bull (or should i say attempting to ride the bull haha)! overall for $10, it's not a bad way to spend the night.

Awesome, thanks for sharing your experience raraavis! We are planning to do this in about 3 weeks, although I can just about guarantee there will be no bull riding involved!

I will miss you guys by a week, we are in town July 13-17 and plan to do this on the 15th.

ETA: I just looked at their menu and their draft beers include Bud, Bud Light and Mich Ultra. My husband has worked 28 years for a Bud distributor and we drink Ultra, so this is going to make him very, very happy.

We'll be doing this on the 15th as well. I'll be the small blonde with the tall, really drunk, loud guy.

Well since we are in the same age group we should totally make an effort to have a drink together.

    Message me if you want.
