Bellagio or Aria... which buffet is better? Better in terms of food quality, selection and service. Price does not matter (but I would guess B costs more)

We liked the Cosmo buffet last time (Hated M.Bay) but we are stuck between choosing Aria and Bellagio. Which one should it be? Is it all the same or does one stand above the other?

    Thanks!

I've never eaten at Aria, but I have eaten at Bellagio. I've literally never talked to anyone who preferred the Aria buffet to Bellagio, however, and that goes for people I know personally as well as those on various message boards and review sites. I'm sure Aria is fine, but if it's between the 2, choose Bellagio. :licklips:

Bellagio was pretty good, but I would recommend checking out The Wicked Spoon. It is located right in between both those hotels at the Cosmopolitan. Great Yelp reviews and really cool idea. Google it! Then tell me how it is, I do not speak out of experience because I have never been there.

I have only done breakfast at Wicked Spoon, and I wouldn't recommend it for that meal.

I've eaten at both and give the edge to Bellagio for sheer volume of food but I have to say the Aria buffet had some killer indian food and I thought the quality and taste of the food was better at Aria overall. Bellagio had way more variety though, so they get the nod.

Thanks but I've already been to the Cosmo buffet. I had mentioned this in the original post! There are many other threads about that place (but not this one)

I've been to both several times in the couple of months and for breakfast, I'd actually give the nod to Aria. I found there to be more variety and more flavorful food. However, the ambiance at Bellagio is fantastic while Aria's isn't the greatest (nor is it bad).

I usually only do brunch or breakfast so that's my limited knowledge/opinion.

Bellagio. If you hit the weekend brunch it's even better.

The regular breaky buffet at Bellagio is fit for a king.

    Thanks for the replies everyone!
I should have mentioned we will be going for dinner. Not brunch.

So... it looks like Bellagio wins it. To be fair, I already was thinking B is the better choice. But... I didn't want to rule out any other places we have yet to try (Aria).

I know some mentioned the Wynn Buffet. We have yet to try it but I think it will be a little too far north for this next visit.

Please keep any other reviews, opinions or 2 cents coming....

I've been to both Aria and Bellagio Buffett for dinner over the past couple of years and I think Drambled and bdg626 have a point. I like the ambiance of the Bellagio better than Aria and amount of variety of Bellagio was better, but I thought the food tasted better at Aria.

I think it was on Fridays and Saturdays, Aria Buffett Dinner comes with a 1/2 pound lobster tail along with all you can drink wine which wife and I really enjoyed!

Similarly I believe the B has their Gourmet Buffet Dinner on Fri and Sat which has the Venison, Kobe beef and Buffalo that I thought was pretty awesome too though...

Man I making myself hungry and I can't wait to leave for my trip in a week!

Sorry not sure if I was much help, but

Bottom line is, I think if it is Sun to Thurs I would choose Aria for Dinner and if it were Fri or Sat it would depend on my mood. If I wanted lobster vs. ripping my teeth into some buffalo, bambi's dad or kobe beef.

I haven't eaten at the Aria buffet, so can't compare. However, the Bellagio buffet is my second favorite after PH and i've tried most of them except for Aria, Cosmo, IP, Excalibur and Circus Circus.

How is Planet Hollywood ahead of Wynn for you? Unless you've not eaten there before?

Had an opportunity this weekend to refresh my memory on Bellagio buffet. Was TOTALLY disappointed.

Overcrowded, understaffed, disorganized. Employees were in terrible spirits. Drink service was slow or nonexistent. Food quality was meager.

The Wynn destroys the Bellagio by a mile.

Man that's sad to hear Polemarch. Nothing can ruin a meal more than unhappy employees that are disorganized. :(
