I am not getting in til tomorrow at 12:30 and fun santa hat night is Saturday downtown!

I love BeeeJay's trip reports, please accept my friend request so that I may follow the action

 

Ok looks like my last report was after spa on Wed night and it is now Friday morning. At that spa time I was loaded with bankroll and feeling great. less than 48 hours later the bankroll is dying and I couldn't walk 20 feet to pick up a naked Red Lobster hostess passed out on the floor at a house party.

So what the F happened?

Well my buddy M arrived as expected just before 8 pm interrupting my live arrival at the long awaited Cosmo. While I waited for him I hit a little roulette:

We got him checked into Caesars and proceeded to grab a drink in the stand out fron to of caesars. Then we made an "effort" at checking out a packed cosmo, whihc resulted in my getting my players card and losing $700...

played a litte at Fllamingo while waiting for JDog. Once he arrived we went into full degerate gambling mode.

....ok, back in the land of the living, but barely.

So waiting for the boys to arrive, Cosmo to open, I start walking towards Cosmo at 7:36 for 8pm opening, sure enough, 7:39 my buddy text on his way to caesars. I took a seat at the nearest roulette table to wait:



cashed in a nice hit on #17 and we are off to Cosmo for the grand opening regallia!

The place was ridic, awesome, and packed. Hard to get pics, but here is what I got with the phone that night:



yeah a pic of a chip basically. Ok so I quick dumped $700 on roulette. This describes Wednesday night with me, JDog, my buddy and his friend from work, it was a roller coaster night as we traveled around and I had nice hits here or there. besides wins had bad losses at Flamingo VP, Cosmo Roulette which im sure i mentioned but hit a $20 #32 on flamingo roulette for $700. blew some money on $5 VP. overall left room with $1,000 came back with $1,600 on the late session. looks like only up about $1,300 for trip though unless my math is off. think i missed reporting a dump in there somewhere at caesars early. should sleep but im afraid my snoring will wake the dead hookers in the bathtub. The vague wins I remember from that night are three card poker, roulette (and losses), and craps. After all meeting up in the Augustus room at Caesars, we hit Bellagio, Aria, P.Ho. and finally cabbed from there to Venetian for a good ole gut bomb:



Walking back about 7am, totally got lost in Caesars Forum Shops and in bed by 8am. No sleep. Back in the shower by 10am and over to play at Cosmo. Waited in line and got my pin # so I can see my points on the machines with my card. Long lines at the players clubs. Move fairly quick and people are so nice. I dumbed some money on 5 play vp and toured the Cosmo casino a little:





Played some VP and dumped a bunch more cash, back over to Caesars and got some water and alieve for the crew. When I got back to the room around 2pm they were just about ready. Here is the room in Augustus Tower, nice size:

We decided our plan of attack would be to go to Encore and tour around that area, having lunch at Wynn buffet. As soon as we sat down to play at Encore I got the call my room at Cosmo was ready. So we hopped a cab and grabbed some liquor using points at the Carnival Court Liquor store. That was kind of a clusterfuck as they showed me having $2.00 in comps but really had about $450. Had to go to TR desk within Harrah's where they got it fixed up in the liquor store somehow. We hoofed the liquor over to Caesars, packed and moved to Cosmo. Now at Cosmo we had to get new keys for some reason so we went with luggage and food/liquor all the way to the back of the property, having walked from Caesars Augustus, on my painful foot. Grrrr. So we get the keys and trek back to the east tower of the Cosmo. From this point I'll let pics and videos do the talking about the most awesome room EVER!!!!!

Ok so back to the story. We arrived and got our liquor set up in the room. Were getting hungry so hopped over next door to Bellagio for a quick buffet which was pretty good with king crab, shrimp, i like their pastas and pizza. friends liked the sushi options. we crushed the desserts in style.

plan was to meet JDog and Gaggles at Bellagio Bacarat pit bartops after dinner, but only Jdog made it as Gaggles, Ty, and Shane were in a juicy poker game at Bally's. So we took Jason in for his first tour of the Cosmo Wraparound Suite and had some drinks in the spacious room. My group of 3 took turns hitting the shower, and the nice thing in this room is the full shower in the powder room!!!! So two can prep at once.

During that time the boyz from Lethbridge showed and were chortling drunk and added to it with our party booze...we finished getting ready, and when finished up most of the alcohol! Finally we werre off, but no could agree to where. Well first found some bartops, no dice. Then we found some dice and had some great rolls but finally the majority busted out.

It is at about this time we all headed out. We lost our girl and one guy but me, my buddy, JDog and Gaggles headed hard to the high limit room at Bally's. Wow they served us double ketel sodas faster than we paid them money.

I was soon WASTED and back to the room for more cash. Blew threw that in seconds and was DONE for the night. Now this is where things get weird. We decide on a TR dining destination of some sort as we are all losing. I in fact have $7 in my pocket and no ATM card, but TR card worth $350ish.

Gaggles funnily "Dares me to have only $7 in my pocket" cause I usually must have at least a K to feel safe. Then we start walking and he gets ahead of us a bit and just suddenly dashes AWAY?!!?!? Degenerate looking for an ATM or a meal so cheap he is embarrassed to tell us. I say he grabbed a Costanze Chocolate Eclair out of the trash and begged for change to play nickels DDB at Flamingo.

Ok so the three of us remaining head to Flamingo "food court" nothing really open, long line at burger place. not for us. so jdog hits bathroom we tell him we are headed back to room where we used out $100 food/bev room credit for a room service order.

First I gotta say everyone I contact at Cosmo is perfect service and attitude. Room service was accurate and friendly. We got some wings, which sucked, some spinich, artichoke, crab dip with chips, pretzals, bread for dipping which was awesome. He had a club sandwich which looked great, I had a steak and eggs which was up there with the best ever. Filet, Hash Browns, scrambled eggs, sour dough toast, all cooked to perfection and hot.

We pounded that and hit the sack around 445am. Soon enough our girl shows back up and looks like she licked hte plates clean of our leftovers in her drunken stupor. Then she hung for about an hour and went for her plane.

And that is where we were now. All I did yesertday was lose a bunch in the morning and a bunch in the evening. I blew through all my profits and am now down $1,000ish for the trip. That is ok, but it really sucks after being up $2K so early. No way to hold that win that early though. Just got some morning pics and vid from the balcony at Cosmo:

I am getting all tingly inside looking at these pics. That view is AWESOME!!! I need to stay in one of these suites.

 

Looking at those pics, makes me just think of spending a week in Vegas at the Cosmopolitain, and relaxing out on the balcony for the morning.

 

The suite looks awesome! Did you run into any pantless Bellboys in the hallways?

I've noticed Harrahs properties in particular seem to have been loosening some of their vp paytables at the .25 level. Sounds like a nice run. I tend to crave, very cold, bottled diet pepsi when I'm in Vegas for some reason, so I definitely get the milk cravings.

If the Santa hat parade goes off downtown, one bit of advice that I picked up on my last trip downtown. Security at Glitter Gulch does not like when drunk santas get up on stage and start dancing. I 'noticed' this in July, we were downtown and there was a Santa convention, they all decided to head into GG, and one got a bit carried away. Carried away is actually a good term, since they grabbed the one leg on the stage and yanked, so keep Macker in line if he makes a beeline for the stage and his intent isn't to tip dollar bills.

 

That view is unreal - watching the Bellagio fountains from that height outside has to be cool PLUS there is the whole strip laid out - WOW! Now go win back the damn coin !!

Fantastic suite and views, thanks so much for taking the time to post all the photos. Nice to hear that service is good during the opening of Cosmopolitan, wipe all those bad memories of the opening at Aria away!

Thank you for sharing and posting the photos. I'm headed to a week at Walt Disney World with kids, while you guys are drinking, gambling, hookering, blowing, and creating (and enjoying) world class debauchery. Atta boy....

 

WOW! Just WOW!!! Beejay, your room pics have me jonesing for my stay at Cosmo the second week of January. The whole place looks phenomenal.
