    My Trip Report

Woke up to a ringing phone at 9am om Saturday morning. Low and behold it was the Bellagio host informing me that there was a cancellation and there was a room waiting for me if I wanted it. Not yet still awake and hungover, I asked "Full comp with meals because of your screw up?" I figured it was a long shot, but worth asking. He put me on hold and then came back and said the best he could do was comp Saturday, casino rate on Sunday and half off the total food bill. I asked my roomie if he wanted to go with me and he gave me the typical, not awake response "whatever, #$%* off, i'm still sleeping." lol

I called the 'Bay host and he understood, but he wasn't too happy about it. I made it clear to him that I would be back in the summer for a week there and would inquire about his services then.

After getting settled in the room and eating a MASSIVE lunch at the Bellagio buffet, all six of us set out to play at some craps. The tables were packed and just flat out boring. After about an hour, I just couldn't take it anymore and asked the guys if we could all sit at a three card poker table and pool our winnings. They had never played before, so they were up for it. we set our time limit at 30 minutes and went to work. Up and down, one or two of us were getting a good hand every deal and at the 25 minute mark were up almost $75 per person. The groom hadn't hit ANYTHING, I mean his spot was cold. The dealer said "you need some luck my friend" and patted his spot and told us that three aces were on the way. I convinced the guys to double our bets to $50 make it last hand. They agreed and the cards were dealt to us. Since we were only playing the pair plus, we let the dealer turn our cards for us. #1 hand (mine) flipped over two 2's: +$50 #2 hand nothing -$50. #3 hand flush +150. #4 nothing -$50. #5 THREE 10'S!!! We were all yelling and screaming and the pit came over and high fived us, +$1500. The groom was #6 and he was just happy to see the trip 10's, so the pit boss looked at his cards and sat them down and walked away and winked. The dealer flipped them over and BAM, THREE ACES! Not only were there two highly unprobable hands in the same deal, but the dealer actually called it, another +$1500. What a rush!!! After we tipped the dealer $350, we walked away and decided that we would split it evenly. We were all up $500 after that 30 minute game, and wished it were that easy all the time.

We then decided to walk down the strip and just check stuff out. After a slot here, a roll there, we were all the way down to the Stardust. The groom had never been to Circus Circus and he wanted to check out the rides in the dome. We went in, bought wrisbands and rode some rides. Kind of fun to act like a kid again, ya know? After a few hours of that we decided to hit the Hard Rock. This place is great. Lots of cool scenery and there was this bar there, I think it was called the Pink Taco or something like that. It had the most INCREDIBLE lady bartender there who laughed and joked with us for a few hours. The best was when she grabbed the bullhorn and announced "Another cute guy is going off the market ladies, can we change his mind?" lol

After that, the groom was bombarded with drinks from around the bar. What a cool crowd. After drinking himself silly, we took him outside for some air and he saw the strip club across the street. Like a magnet, it pulled him over so we followed (hee hee). All I can say about this place is that it is 100% better than Deja Vu. For the life of me, I can't remember the name though. After a few hours of tipping and lap dances, we headed back to our respective hotels...

    Sunday to come.... [IMG]

Wow! What a ride at the tables, huh? :D

I can't remember what that strip club is called either. Is that Club Paradise or something like that?

I vaguely remember a club directly across the Hard Rock Cafe that resembled the Golden Nugget. Could this Club Paradise be the same club in question?

Great story!!!!!!!! I have to say that whenever I hear a dealer call out cards, I usually follow suit... I have had a number of different instances at the local casinos when dealers have called cards and sure enough, BAM! Almost every time they fall. I guess if you're around cards all day, ya just know when they're gonna fall...
