    My Trip Report

We were comped for 3 nights at MGM Grand and 1 night at Paris. We got our last night moved to MGM since we did not want to move and they accomodated us. We arrived at MGM at about 7:00pm via bell Trans from the airport. The Bell Trans people are the nicest shuttle people...I have tried them all.
1 person in line at the invited guest line, so real quick check in. Asked for upgrade to Bungalow Suite and they were full on sunday but they said to call tomorrow and they should have one for us. We did not call because we were pretty comfortable in our room real close to the elevator.
MGM really treated us right on this trip. I have always liked it because there is so much to do right in that location but this time was very cool. Super nice people working and felt like they really cared about my business.
Of course all the reports are true....the machines were super tight. I hit one machine 500.00 and used that for my last 2 days since I hit nothing else the whole trip.
    Restaurants:
Emmeril's Fish House. Excellent meal as usual. I had the tasting menu and it was a great one. Fillet ...yummy...bread pudding....super yummy.
Wolfgang Puck's. Of course this was good too. Had the tasting menu here as well. Another peice of beef with a corn mixture that was not that great:yuck:. Apricot dessert with vanilla ice cream was good. My companions raved about their salads.
MGM Buffet: Got to tell you this was better than my last trip. Everything was fresh and lots of variety. My friends liked it as well. We did do one day...monday I think, were we bought the all day pass for 29.99. We thought that was a great deal. I only went for breakfast and dinner and missed lunch but still 15 per meal is good in vegas.
I will finish this short report by saying, Met lots of people and drank way too much! :drunk:Fat Tuesday's is still my favorite in the Starlane Shops so make a visit if you are around the MGM.
MGM comped everything we charged to the room except tips of course. We did 2 breakfasts(room service), lunch at Wichcraft and a late night snack at Studio cafe along with drinks from the pool. Like I said I felt taking care of this trip.
Cocktail service was good once they got to you. I tip real well so I had one chase me all over bringing me drinks. I had another bring me a double shot of Patron and I think she was hitting on me, calling me cutie. I get hit on by other girls all the time so it would not surprise me. She was do-able if I swung that way.
This is my first report so it is fragmented and written as I remember so sorry about that. Thanks for reading

Sounds like a nice short trip for sure! I was also at MGM the first week in June and noticed the same things you did - the staff went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs and treat us well. I didn't do a trip report at the time, but every aspect of our trip was great from the MGM perspective. I noticed everything we charged to the room at the pool and buffet was comped when we checked out which surprised me. We're a bunch of late 20's guys who are not huge gamblers by any stretch. The front desk, drinks, dealers, bartenders, and housekeeping staff were all top notch. I was incredibly impressed with the overall friendliness of such a massive operation.

i'm headed the MGM way in 2 weeks, 5 days. Will be my 3rd time staying there (and in a row, no less) and i'm bringing friends. Already got a pretty great deal on the rooms - all of them include 3x/day/person buffet. How can i get these other comps ya'll have mentioned? Anyone?? Thank you kindly!

I actually hit my 500 on a crystal forest machine I think it is called. It was a penny machine but at max bet.
You just play slots on your card to get points. Then before we checked out I called casino marketing and they told me what could be comped. I am not a High Roller but do spend a couple hundred a day on slots.

I agree with you Christa the service at the MGM was top notch when we were there too. We looked for Fat Tuesday's when we where there but couldn't find them. Maybe I was just too hungover at the time.

It's down in the little row of shops on the lower level. If you go to the main lobby, just to the left of the main entrance there is a set of stairs as well as a set of escalators that lead to a "basement"...that's where you'll find Fat Tuesday's!

I had one of my favorite breakfasts at Studio cafe. It was a breakfast burrito smothered in guacamole and sour cream. Outstanding. Thanks for posting - enjoyed the read!

Very nice read. It sounds like you had a great time. And phew! Your gambling funds held up. Nice to get the win to keep you in the game. I need to get down to MGM next trip and watch the lions again. Haven't the last 2 trips. :( Thanks for posting. :)

Hi Christa, I will be staying at the MGM the first week in August, and will be taking your suggestion to charge everything to our room. Is this a special for the all day buffet pass? If so, when does it end? Also, what is Fat Tuesday's? I can't wait!!!
