I honestly wasn't sure it would come back if being honest.

Really hoping that rumor of HR buying TI comes true, I'd be fine with them putting a guitar tower over what remains of the pirate show. Leave the volcano alone!

The volcano is one of the most boring attractions on the Strip.

I think I've only seen two volcano shows but thats completely on me. It's a hallmark of the strip and I hope like hell there is some way to preserve it. When I think of the all time LVB eye candy icons I'd rank it right there with:

    The original Stardust marquee
    Caesars Palace Fountains
    Bellagio Fountains

Those would be my personal top four...

I was at Harrah's Thursday and saw them on top doing inspections and later testing. Hadn't seen it during the day before.

Have over the years seen the volcano enjoyed watching it. Tho I would not make a special trip to watch it once ot twice was enough. Now as for gawking at a huge tower shaped like a guitar, wow be still my beating heart, kind of like watching paint dry. Yes I am a confirmed Fremont Street person, every change on the strip makes me more so.

Great shots of it from that Harrah's vantage point. Don't think I've ever seen photos from that perspective.

Any free attraction is good in my book.

I've never watched it per se. Passed it many times while driving on the Strip. I'm sure when it first opened it was an eye opener.

Now for many people it might just be a traffic snarl.

Wish there were more free strip attractions, and I'm not talking about grown men in Mickey Mouse suits

I've seen the Volcano show only in passing, but I'm glad HR decided to keep it. I do miss the Battle of Buccaneer Bay (my all-time favorite free Vegas show) they used to have in front of the TI. Never cared much for the Sirens show that replaced it. It felt more like a PG-13 Gilligan's Island episode than anything else!

I’m going to make an actual point of seeing it this trip. I’ve only ever seen it by accident

We have a running joke amongst my wife that she is going to never see the volcano. I've seen it multiple times and will miss it when it goes.

One time we stayed at the Mirage in a Volcano view and the 2 times we were in our room when it went off my wife was passed out cold from partying. All I got from her when I tried to wake her was "Leave me the f__k alone".

One other time she was with me waiting for it (again sloshed) she wandered off before it went off and missed it.

We went by together when she was sober twice to see it, but both times it was canceled due to weather.

She keeps saying she has seen it on youtube though!

I for one am glad it is back.
