Hmm, it looks like Palms has axed the weekday "brunch buffet" and now are only open on the weekend for that, at a higher price. Guess it'll be Main Street Station then if I go anywhere for a breakfast buffet on the trip next week..

They probably did it due to low attendance, but the weekend brunch buffet (which is when you can get brunch at most places) is still in full swing!

It's listed at $32.99 on their website, which doesn't seem bad at all.

Ate here for lobster night on April 26. Ubered from the strip and arrived at 330 pm. Got in line to give them my phone number and info which only took a few minutes. There was only a few people in front of me. They told me it would be a 3 hour wait, so we went to the sportsbook and watched nba and nhl playoffs. I received the text that our table was ready and to come back to the buffet after only 90 minutes. Got in line to pay and there was only about 8 people in front of us (2x groups of 4). We waited in this line for about 30 minutes, as the higher tiered customers kept getting seated before the general line that we were in. By the time we got seated, the general line to pay was probably about 50 people deep who all got the text that the table was ready. Overall, we only stood in line for a total of 30 minutes, and sat in the sportsbook for 90 minutes. Got seated with the closest table to the lobster station, so it was quick to get up and get lobster tails. (I ate 10!). Never saw the lobster line reach more than 4 people waiting at a time. Fantastic experience and hope this stays around for a long time.

As in nights where you get two lobsters? Sign me up! :D

I noticed the second night listed on the main marquee a while ago, but I'm curious whether that's led to either more reasonable lines at each, or a drop-off in quality/quantity at both. Presumably they must be making money off of it (either directly or indirectly) if they're expanding it.

From some reviews I've seen, people are still showing up at 10am to line up and then pay at 12pm. Then come back at 2pm to sit. So must be pretty successful to expand.

I actually like good buffets. And the price point for this one seems ok/typical for Vegas these days.

But I don't know why grown adults willingly jump through ridiculous, time-consuming hoops to eat a meal.

I love Lobster. When is the best time to go where the wait isn't huge?

The promo is designed to get you through the door and to line up and stay in the casino. So in sort, there will always be a massive line.

I am a black card member at palms (because of my local yaamava I go to a lot). Do I have to do that waitlist line too? Whenever I go I just walk right up to the black card line to pay and go right in. On 31st planning on eating dinner at buffet before nye party. Are there exceptions for black cards? I read that article on the waiting process, but no mention about high card members. I been to their buffet before and its really good. All I do is walk right up when ready to eat to the black card line and pay and go right in. It was not on a holiday though, but this its new years eve evening so this is why I am asking this q now.

Diamond and Turquoise Club Serrano get priority access at the Buffet.

so we do not have to go pay and wait a few hours to get in right? even on real busy days? I know at yaamava on busy days priority still has to reserve a time that could be up to an hour waiting around if we do not make online reservations and if all sold out online to make the reservations (most of time yaamava sells out buffet times online and I can get in with up to an hour wait still). Palms is vegas and they do not have online reservations and may run different, so this is why I am asking if regardless of sold out if we would get priority in.

We would be eating brunch at most likely the cafe on 31st and then want to have dinner at the buffet probably around 6ish. It would be nice if we could select a time early to meet for dinner though or if we just walk right up and can walk right in.

What about diamond and turquoise members? Do we have to go in that same long line or will there be a separate line for my card level to pay and get a time when we want? My friend and I are staying at the palms for NYE and planning on eating at buffet on New years eve at around 6pm ish. Online does not show open table to make reservations. I know when we have gone to buffet, it was not busy and we could walk right up to priority line and go right in, but this looks different based on what the website says (quoted below) and I am expecting the place to be crowded that evening. I am diamond card (play a lot at yaamava). We want to eat dinner at 6pm. A reply above says we get priority access, but website does not say diamond and turquoise get priority access regardless if busy or not and says seating may be closed up to 4 hours prior. What I want to do is in afternoon that day is get a reservation time for when we know we want to have dinner and if there will be a separate line for us to make the reservation.

:*Due to the high volume of guest demand on peak dinner periods such as holidays and our AYCE Lobster Dinner on Wednesday and Thursday, we have initiated an Open Table Texting waitlist opportunity for our guests waiting in line. Our waitlist tends to fill up very quickly and therefore it is suggested that you arrive well before our opening time. Seating may be closed up to four hours prior to our posted closing time. Thank you for your understanding."

There is a separate line for Diamond and Turquoise. I can’t answer if people with that status jump the queue if there is a long wait list but a perk of that status states priority seating which I assume means yes. You may want to check with your host to confirm or call Palms.

In chatting with a cashier earlier this month, Thursday has much smaller lines.

I am not sure if this is a new feature or not, but you can now make reservations for the lobster nights on the Palm's website. Also, reservations are now required for lobster nights.

Went there for a regular lunch yesterday/Sunday. Line took around 60 minutes. Our two meals were comped, (some sort of sign up /points bonus), but wouldn't wait that long again even with a comp.

No lobster, but they did have snow crab. Unfortunately it was very salty and wet, a bit disappointed in the crab given the wait. They had mimosas included which contributed to long lines as some groups were trying to maximize that.
