Road to 7 Stars Update 1/2/24 Caesars Palace Las Vegas 9-5 JoB (98.45%) = Win $1,160, 5x TCs, 35000 Net TCs 1/14/24 Harrah's Laughlin 8-5 BP (99.17%) = Lose $1,100, 7x TCs, 45000 Net TCs This session triggered a $250 Return FreePlay promotion which I only cashed out $25. Total $60 Profit, 80000 Total TCs (Diamond Elite) 2 More 5x Trips Remaining The 8/5 BPs at Tropicana Laughlin have been downgraded to 7/5 BP. Went over to Harrah's and the Chances Bar still has two machines $5, $10, $25 Single Play 8/5 BP at $10 = 1 TC. It's those losing sessions where the 8 on the full house really matters vs the 7!
Road to 7 Stars Update 2/13/24 Horseshoe Las Vegas 9-5 JoB (98.45%) = Lose $650, 5x TCs, 35000 Net TCs 1/2/24 Caesars Palace Las Vegas 9-5 JoB (98.45%) = Win $1,160, 5x TCs, 35000 Net TCs 1/14/24 Harrah's Laughlin 8-5 BP (99.17%) = Lose $1,100, 7x TCs, 45000 Net TCs This session saw quad aces three times (once with a kicker) except I’m playing the wrong game. Exercised my $600 airfare reimbursement this trip to help cover some of the loss but not including it in the below calculation. Total $590 Loss, 115000 Total TCs (Diamond Elite) 1 More 5x Trip Remaining for 7* by invite
I see you are playing very low variance games but even still you are having some incredible luck. Feb 13 - assuming you played to 5000 tier before bonuses and multipliers the casino hold should be $775 Jan 2nd - assuming the same.. the hold would also be $775 JAn 14th - Assuming the same except you played a better return game so the hold would be $415 Soo.. Assuming the casino got the posted hold.. you would have lost $1965 so far. Now…. I assume you did not hit a royal flush (since you mentioned aces but not the royal) so in all reality they should have held more then the posted rate. (If you got a royal I would then concede they would hold less on that trip) TLDR. You are doing extremely well and far above average so far on your road to 7*. You have only lost about 30% of what you should have lost playing the machines you mentioned I just don’t want people to quickly read it and think most can get there with a loss so small just because they use the multipliers Nice Job so far. Hopefully on your next trip you can pull out a winning trip and finish by getting 7 * and making a profit
100%. Last year I was very lucky to do my DIAD for a pretty “cheap” loss of a few hundred (5x day). I’ve had to tell several folks that I was extremely fortunate and that this year, in line with normal expectations, I expect to lose hundreds more. At least.
115k tier credits with only a $590 loss? That’s nearly unheard of, I’ve clearly been playing the wrong game(s), well, forever lol.
I think I’m gonna skip this madness to chase for status. Caesars properties aren’t that nice on the east coast, so I don’t really feel the need to attain platinum or diamond.
I was actually up on them 2 years ago when reach 7 Stars again, but well I kept going as usual. This is the lowest I've been in Feb at ~20k tcs. Will this be the year I abandon CET? Sadly, its not CET that's making think to not renew. Its the getting sick of the repeated AC will ban smoking crapola. If they ban smoking, they will get ZERO of my play. So might be a good thing for me. Vegas will be my only outlet for gambling then. If that becomes the case, CET is no longer attractive to me. I'll probably do some sort of combo of Wynn and CET or MGM in Vegas then with my non Wynn days being low roller days (maybe I'll stay in the Flamingo or Excalibur!)
I've heard about that too, but my comment was mainly saying if my local(ish) place goes non smoking then making CET 7 Stars is not as enticing anymore. Even if they make it past this round and it doesn't get banned in Atlantic City, it will come up again, and again, and again, until it gets banned. The main argument by the casino employees is that they should not have to choose between their health and their job. Obviously, they applied to the job knowing that the AC casino's allowed smoking... AC could have been a great destination, but they kept not realizing that its about the customers. Vegas catered to the customer and reinvented itself as needed. AC tried to force some vision of what they thought the 'voters' wanted and failed.
Don’t know where you live, so this might not work for your plans, however there’s a 7x happening at Caesars Southern Indiana next month.
Road to 7 Stars Update using only CET Tier Credit Multipliers 2/24/24 Harrah's Laughlin 8-5 BP (99.17%) = Lose $1,650, 5x 5000 TCs + 10000 Bonus TC = 35000 Net TCs 2/13/24 Horseshoe Las Vegas 9-5 JoB (98.45%) = Lose $650, 5x 5000 TCs + 10000 Bonus TC = 35000 Net TCs 1/14/24 Harrah's Laughlin 8-5 BP (99.17%) = Lose $1,100, 7x 5000 TCs + 10000 Bonus TC = 45000 Net TCs 1/2/24 Caesars Palace Las Vegas 9-5 JoB (98.45%) = Win $1,160, 5x 5000 TCs + 10000 Bonus TC = 35000 Net TCs What a catastrophic session. The best hand was 3 of a kind for what felt like forever as I missed every single flush draw and fed a continuous stream of hundred dollar bills into the machine. In the middle of the session I picked up two quads 5-K pretty quickly, good for $1,250 which STILL went to $0 afterwards (and feeding more hundred dollar bills). The game was $5*5=$25/spin & I had lost over $4,200 at my worst point. Near the end of the session I picked up quad aces for $2,000 and a W2-G to get back a good chunk of my losses. Hopefully I get my 7* and won't have to return to Laughlin for awhile. Pro Tip: When in Laughlin, stay at Tropicana for a single night but play at Harrah's to trigger Return Rewards. For 5,000 TCs earned, it might be $250 FreePlay on a Sunday (?) and $125 FreePlay on most other days. I got the $125 FreePlay on this trip but not going to factor it into the below calculation. Tropicana doesn't have 8/5 BP anymore but I saw some 9/5 JoB $1 $2 $5 single lines. Total $2,240 Loss, 150000 Total TCs (7* by invite)
Congrats on earning all the TCs required for 7 stars. Using some rough calculation, I think you were supposed to lose about $3k, and you only lost 2, so it’s not bad.
it's my first time getting to 150,000 TCs. I am not sure if I will receive the invite/upgrade to 7* since my game selection was lower house edge video poker. I guess we will find out in a week or two! Hoping to use 7* to match tiers at Fontainebleau, Resorts World, MGM
Will be interested to hear, but you should? For what it’s worth, my match to Royal at FB from 7* was a piece of cake.
Hey, just to make sure, this event at Caesars Southern Indiana is for everyone, not just for 7* members? I'm not seeing it on CSI's website but I spoke to Caesars on the phone and after some digging the agent said I should be okay (Diamond Elite).
