Ooooh, the sphere now has a Tetris game display! I used to love playing that lol. There’s also a cute android commercial now. I didn’t take pix of the Tetris cuz I was just watching it. I wonder how often the screens change cuz it seems almost weekly?

I have a credit card that I only use in Vegas, and I saw a series of small “Facebook” transactions and had to cancel it.

Figured it was probably due to the CET hack, or MGM hack, or Cosmo security certificate, or Experian hack. I figure nothing’s safe and we’ll have to update our info every year or so.

But at least now I have 99 years of free identity theft.

Ugh! That sucks! I use the RFID cards stacked around my cards.. but I’m not sure it matters really. I know the RFID cards always ruin my room keys though…,

Steak and eggs at Salt and Ivy. Credit card wouldn’t go through and I spent quite some time on the phone with credit card peeps who kept assuring me it would work and having the poor guy rerun the card to no avail. I gave up after the fourth attempt and used my debit card. I was assured it would work if I tried elsewhere, but when I went to get gas, same issue. Liars!

Been using my debit card for everything.

I am now in AZ. About to go to a center and balance class. I’ll be back end of the month, but I don’t think I’ll do anymore trip reports. Also not sure how active I’ll be as it is a LOT of time to read, write and comment.

Thanks for following along and happy to have met so many VMBers this trip!

I am not sure who your credit card is issued through but a few years ago I found out that BofA credit card services call center was located in Las Vegas. I had a nice chat with the rep while she removed the travel block on my card (which I was told by my local office that BofA no longer did.)
I enjoyed the trip report. Thank you for taking the time to do it.

What a PITA with your credit card. Hopefully you can get it all sorted quickly now that you are home. Thank you for taking us along on your Vegas adventures.

I’m doing ONE load of laundry now that is stuffed to its brim. That fit all my dirty clothes except what I’m wearing now. To be fair, most of my dresses have to dry cleaned lol

Stats—not gambling ones like others do lol

I went through and manually counted the peeps I mentioned meeting this trip. It was 22, plus significant others, and people from the craps meetup. Maybe 30? That doesn’t seem as many as I thought lol

I also went through my calendar and manually counted the number of nights in Vegas. Its not exactly accurate since sometimes I extend my stay and don’t note that, but a good rough estimate.

2023 Vegas Nights (My goal was to cut back to every other month)

    Jan 6 nights
Feb 1 night (continued from end of Jan)
    March—successfully stayed away
    April 8 nights
    May 7 nights
June 7 nights (continued from end of
    May)
    July—successfully stayed away
    August 5 nights
September 9 nights (continued from end of August)
    October 10 nights
    November 16 nights
    December 21 nights

90 nights. That isn’t as bad as I thought!

Goal is to cut back significantly this year!

Writing TRs are great if you just want to take a break from all the activity, esp if you're getting your arse handed to you. They force you to reflect on what has happened and what will happen. I find them therapeutic at times (oddly enough) since the TR detaches me from everything else going on around me.

On the other hand, to update the TR during a fast-paced game where you must use your brain a lot (read: craps session), that is not easy. Updating a TR during this time is almost like playing online poker 6 tables simultaneously. Also, if one is running bad, it's demoralizing to keep updating one's TR every few mins with "DAMMIT DUDE 7'D OUT AGAIN .. 7, 11. 6, and 7. ARRRGHHH. WHERE'S THE ATM??!!"

Anyways - we all look forward to your next trip report @Christina6001 ... even if you just update your TR once a day to mention your daily bag count. :D

Upon collecting the $600 in FP for my Diamond Elite status, heck yea! And I'll even pay for the steak dinner with my EBT card!!

Otherwise -- anything short of that -- yep... Panda Express. :haha::haha::haha: ;);)
