Now we need to see if they will inflate the beef prices.

I'm just happy that I've held onto that app reward.

Unless they bought beef futures 5 years ago and the owners of the hotel are working in the restaurant, I can't see how they would be able to buy beef below current market prices, which have approximately doubled in that time, or hire people below current market wages.

TLDR: Yes, prices will have increased substantially.

Great news, unless they follow Hugo's example and raise the prices to a ridiculous level.

Yep, we dropped $300 @ Hugo's this past December. At least at TOB you have a spectacular view at sunset, as opposed to the view of a rose....which is nice, but we always have flowers in our home.

They will have to. Prices for quality beef have skyrocketed.

In my experience seafood has jumped too. Binions chicken fried lobster should have increased prices.

. The only quality restaurant between Binions and 4Qs was Hugos until now. I wonder if this signals an end to shifting comps earned between those two casinos

I like Hugo's but it really isn't the best for a single diner. I would think Binion's Steakhouse would be more comfortable. So I hope they keep allowing use at either place.

Great, I still have a $200 voucher from the app. Will be using that with the wife in April.

Yes! My dad said they never closed and since I’m his ‘secretary’ since he doesn’t do internet, he didn’t understand what I was talking about at all. So not sure what the big deal is except maybe folks don’t know it’s been open???

Unless they are stupid they will increase their prices based on the cost of all ingredients (especially beef prices) going up. Jackson's Bar & Grill waited MANY months before raising the price of their 1-pound ribeye & eggs breakfast and 1-pound ribeye dinner from $16.99 to $20. They ate the higher costs for many months after beef prices went up to higher than what they charged at $16.99 (ribeye costs were up to $19 a pound at Walmart for a number of months, up from $9.99).

So why would Binion’s advertise that they are opening their steakhouse? We stayed downtown 3 times last year at different times during the week and I don’t remember it being open. I’m confused.

It was not open. When we we're there in December it was closed, due to staffing issues, per their website. Just to add, it was closed months prior to December.
