Already been to Vegas, Tahoe, Laughlin and So Cal many times. Looking for alternative destinations with non-gambling activities. Planning for 3rd week of March. Been to New Orleans once, still an option, though no festivals that week. Also considering Atlantic City with Philadelphia day trips. Destinations suggestions are welcome. We like outdoors and sightseeing.

Maybe Harrah's Cherokee? You have Asheville, Biltmore Estate and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

I missed that this was for March, may be a little too cold.

Thanks for suggestion. I will check it out. Seems to be 10' warmer than Atlantic City in March :)

Blackhawk Colorado, we've considered visiting there, just not sure how far CET has integrated the Eldorado casinos there?

Harrah's Gulf Coast/Biloxi? The casino is puny, but lots of others to hop around.

Tunica, not much around there, but sightseeing within driving distance in Memphis, Graceland, etc.

I'm interested in your responses. I'm considering AC myself, since I haven't been there in over 30 years. The main issue is that it is not easy to fly to AC, and I'm not sure that the limo transport would include being picked up at then Philly airport.

I would consider the following factors when deciding where to go for 7* retreat:

    1. Comped rooms. Seven Stars retreat gets you 2-4 comped nights. But if you can get comped nights already on the calendar, this shouldn't be that big a factor unless you can get suites due to retreat.
    2. Airfare reimbursement. $1,200 airfare reimbursement. This will depend on what airfare costs to your destination and how many people you travel with. For most people, the costlier destinations will be a better use for 7* retreat.
    3. $500 folio credit. Are there enough restaurants/spa facilities at the destination for you to use up the folio credit? Vegas shouldn't be a problem, but you might end up eating at the steakhouse everyday at some of the smaller places. New Orleans gives 50,000 RCs instead of folio credit.
    4. Airport transportation (usually limo). Some of the places farther away from closest airport may get the best use out of this benefit. I used mine in Tahoe for this reason. But if you want to sightsee, you might as well get a rental car anyway at the aiport.

Not when you can fly into Atlantic City International Airport 3 times a year on Spirit.

Seriously though, A $200 or thereabouts FreePlay credit to cover rental car costs would do me. Be interested to hear from someone who knows whether they do provide Limo transport from/to PHL - wouldn't surprise me. Similar for Tahoe from Reno, SoCal from San Diego, Cherokee from Asheville......

New Orleans. It’s nice getting the $500 in RCs. Plenty of good food in the city.

That is a plus. Book ahead their rooms fill up.
Also the room cleaning/maintenance was bad on my recent trip. Near motel 6 level... Suite I had once wasn't beat up, if you can get one.
