I’ve been flipping through the dozens of options for the game and they all seem to kind of be the same to me (tailgate food buffet and all you can drink, just in different size rooms). With so many to choose from, do any of you have recommendations for a specific party? I’ll have my bets in well ahead of time so it doesn’t necessarily need to be at a Sportsbook. Possibly looking for something with a little extra, like someplace that runs squares or promos/raffles, etc. Our current front runner is HOB at Mandalay Bay. Budget isn’t a huge concern but would probably cap out around $300 a head. Thanks in advance for any tips/suggestions!
The restaurant or the music hall? Because I was just looking at a party for the latter, and it seemed like a good deal, around $200 a head with fees and such. https://www.houseofblues.com/lasvegas/biggame There are a couple Facebook groups that aggregate these things. I personally have limited experience because my version of a Super Bowl party usually involves just posting up at a video poker bar. And don't forget, you can bet from your phone anyway!
It's been since 2018, but, my favorite place I have watched the game out there is at the Downtown watch party behind The D.... It's free entry, but you can reserve tables for $200. That $200 gives you a $200 gift card for food and beverage at any of the vendors I'm the venue (or it did last time I was there). They have a huge screen, good food, and the atmosphere during the game is great. https://dlvec.com/event/biggest-big-game-bash-2022/
I'm in Vegas for the Super Bowl. Looking for a super bowl party that is fun, but not too expensive.. I welcome suggestions.
Watching I have reservations to be in town. I thought/assumed all superbowl parties were by invitation. I asked my Cosmopolitan host if they have a party. Host responded "We do have a small super bowl party, it’s usually around the same criteria as our NYE party. As it gets closer I can see if you received an invite." I didn't get a NYE invite, so assume no Superbowl invite. I was going to cancel my trip. Traveling solo, fighting crowds in a sportsbook doesn't appeal to me. But now watching this thread.... Haven't booked flights, so might be moot.
I have attended previous parties at Bally's with CET, but no invites this year. I called Caesars and MLife and was told by both that I will be notified if I am invited, there was nothing either of the people I spoke with could do at the time (based on my very limited play over the past year). I considered buying a table at the Circa Sportsbook early on, but could not justify the cost. Last week, I bought 4 tickets for the Big Game Party at the Westgate ($225 each) to ensure I have some fun place to go and watch the game this year in a great all you can eat and drink party atmosphere. My first time attending this party, but based on many reviews I have seen, I am hoping it becomes a new tradition for me and my group!
It is only my impression as I’m frugal. I’d go play vp at a nice bar that doesn’t do drink tickets. EVERYONE watches this game….not like those the bartender has no money on and is more interested in your play. Have a 400$ budget (100 a 1/4) or more. To eat a great dinner afterwards…200$ budget. You’ll come out ahead if you lose it all….and probably not hung over from cheap alcohol. (don’t wear a Rolex or bring a wad of 5’s surrounded by a 100…..it doesn’t end well….)
You can't be indoors in Las Vegas on super Sunday without being in the presence of a television tuned to the game. I suggest going to a bar like PTs or hanging out at your favorite bar in your favorite casino. No cover charge required.
I received an invite from CET to choose between a watch party at Caesars, Paris, or inside Allegiant stadium. I wasn't planning on being in Vegas that weekend, but he stadium options sounds interesting.
Agree we used to receive numerous invites but since last years Rona shutdown we haven’t gotten anything. If we don’t we will find a bar and play VP. Not overly concerned about it either. Most parties sizzle out a halftime and there’s only so many wings and food I can consume.
Thanks everyone for the answers and suggestions. We ended up going with the party at the Plaza. Seemed to be the best combo of drinks/food to cost ($100ish). And if it fizzles out or is a bust, we’ll just hoof it to the DLVEC at halftime since GA is free. Hoping my Packers can make it all the way there - then I won’t rightly give a shit where I’m watching it lol
I have been wondering about Circa. I know it will be wild. I don't want to buy any of the Super Bowl packages or pay in any kind of way to sit at the sports book. Will I be allowed to walk in the door and get as close as I can to the sports book without being a registered guest?
