The Chicago Brew Pub is divided into two areas. The table area is non-smoking. Smoking is allowed in the bar area. You can order food while sitting at the bar.

Half of my 28 trips have been solo. Three nights is good for me if I can get in a full 72-hours, arriving early enough for dinner and leaving late enough to have breakfast. For trips longer than that, I need something planned other than gambling.

I travel solo all of the time. One of the things that I think is mandatory is that you have a plan. Note that you are not required to "stick" to the plan, but you have a list of things to do if you're tired of gambling/the pool/eating and need somewhere to go/something to do.

My next LV trip is 9 days long and my planning list is very long and detailed.

Of course, if you're not the type who likes to plan ANYTHING, then that's OK too.

Most of my trips to Vegas are solo. I've found 3 nights to be my sweet spot. Two nights and I feel rushed. Four nights is too much opportunity to overdo it.

Best part of a solo trip is how far your dining credits/backend comps go....the best bottles of wine I've ordered at a restaurant with dinner occurred during solo trips because i knew it would be "free". In other words: INDULGE.

Lots of great advice here. thanks so much

I'm thinking it will probably be a 3 night stay over maybe MLK or President's Day holiday(Sun-Wed). Looks like a non-stop flight on Sunday that would get me there before noon so that would basically be 3 full days which I think would be about right.

I know Pizza Rock will be a stop for sure. Happy Hour there is about my favorite place to eat in Vegas. I was also wondering about a sandwich place downtown. I can eat a sandwich(hot or cold) for lunch everyday of the week. My wife thinks I'm crazy.

I'm excited Main Street Casino is open again as BHB was one of my favorite video poker places along with The Plaza.

Do it. you will not regret it.
I have made approximately 90 trips to Vegas, most of them solo and I prefer it that way.

Made 2 solo trips last month. It is quite liberating to be able to do whatever you want for however long you want it. The only person you need to care for is yourself.

If your home and work life keeps you on edge, it'll be a good mental break to relax and even indulge a bit.

for expensive, but good and 24/7 DT sandwiches, check out Saginaws, esp if you haven't seen Circa, it's worth a look.

and for us 3 nights is about perfect, even better if we can get 4 nights comped for checking out whenever we want.

It's vegas, everyone is there to have a good time.
every time i saddled up to a craps table or went on a good spin on a machine , I was quickly in conversation
with people from all over the world.
and most mornings I am by my self, since my rosy goes to the spa/gym/pool and then comes to yank me off the tables so we can go eat.

I've done 2/3 of my Vegas trips solo. I usually do 3 nights, but my last one was 4 and it was actually quite nice to have 3 full days. The cost wasn't much more, and it was definitely more relaxing. I personally like the Sun-Weds/Thurs, since you get a touch of weekend energy, and more of the weekday, which I prefer -- less crowded/lower limits. I'm mostly a VP/low-limit craps player, with a few slots thrown in for variety. No cigars though, lol.

Best to you on the trip planning, and def keep us updated on how it goes.

Most of my Vegas trips are solo (which I prefer) and usually anywhere from 1-2 weeks in length. I just wing it most of the time and only make plans when I have to make advance reservations to see shows/concerts. I do keep a list of things to do, but it's just a list and not an agenda. LOL Vegas has always been a solo friendly vacation destination so just go and have a great time! Although, avoid the Park MGM if you want to smoke, since their property including the casino is completely smoke-free.

I go in groups then mix in solo trips. I like the 3 or 4 night time spot it lets me slow down and just do my thing. But part of the reason I like that length is it also gives me a day to adjust to the time change.

Most of my 54 trips have been solo, I generally do 4-5 nights per trip. I am a video poker player as well and have migrated to downtown as the years have gone on. Being solo and allowing long sessions without having to worry about plans with others is a wonderful thing, not to say I don't enjoy trips when I am joined by friends or a GF.

I love downtown on my solo trips…for a couple of days. More than that I start to feel trapped. If I have a car I can stay downtown indefinitely, if no car I have to take the Deuce to the Strip for a change of scenery. I do 3 solo trips a year, each one is about 2 weeks long. With a car, it’s fantastic as the whole city is at my disposal.

3 or 4 nights may be a bit short depending on your flight times. With a late arrival and an early morning or afternoon departure, that only leaves maybe 2 full days.

I normally go Fri-Mon solo and love it, by far my favorite trips as I can do what I please, when I please. The duration is perfect too as I gamble throughout the day, any longer I get restless.

I would love to do a solo trip, but it would never go over very well with my wife. I would think about 3 nights would be perfect. For me, depending on the flight time to get in and leave, 4 nights could be stretching it. Plus your bankroll may dictate your stay.

My trips are almost always solo. It works out nicely & gives those of us
who have been married forever, some space. We trust each other.
And its fine with my spouse who usually says, How soon til youre leaving?
