Love the view; that will make the move from
Cosmo a little easier to take.

That's one gorgeous view! I've never stayed at Bally's for various reasons but that picture makes me reconsider.

After a couple of stays on floors 50+, I now request something on 25-45 if available. Less vertigo and a better view IMHO.

I’m neutral on the shampoo and conditioner but I much prefer the CO Bigelow lotion. I may be guilty of stashing bottles to bring home.

@Astribling I'm not a fan of the Bigelow products either, they smell like men’s cologne to me.....which is fine, if you’re a man. :D

@Astribling remember my view at the Flamingo from the Cosmo??? Nothing but HVAC units and some palm trees! Your view is WAY better and definitely would've made leaving the Cosmo easier!

I'm familiar with that Bally view, and sometimes switch to other side.
Hope you don't get the DJ blasting from base of Eiffel Tower all night.
He cranks it up, and it Looks like theres hardly anyone there.
Good luck with room & with casino too.
Glad you got to meet Retriggerme.

I'm back in the room. I did not want to give any of that royal back tonight . That definitely helped. I'm far from up but at least my bankroll is healthy again. I tried Mississippi twice and couldn't hit a dam thing. VP was better. I had some nice hits on quick quads again. I'll post pics. On the way back to the room I grabbed a crepe. Always yummy. It was just the butter and sugar but delicious.

Thanks to @cjcjcj for setting up the meet and slot pull. It was great to meet everyone. Too bad the slots were not kinder to us.i hope to see everyone again down the road.

Ok now for my Lyft driver story. Withy luggage I didn't want to walk from Cosmo to Bally's. Lyft was about $9. Not too bad. The car showed up. The driver just popped the trunk and say in the car. No offer to help with my bags. So I loaded it and get in the car. He said hello, that was it. No chit chat ok that's fine. We got to Bally's and again no help. So I just nicely asked if they were no longer allowed to help with bags, maybe due to the pandemic. Every driver I've ever had has helped me. His response, "I'm a Lyft driver, I don't lift bags. If you want help with that order a more expensive ride." I was shocked. I can understand if it's a new Lyft rule but he was just rude.

Am I wrong to think this was out of line? I still tipped but less than I normally do.

That Lyft driver had some attitude. Very rude.

The rooms at Bally's are actually decent for the price. And definitely decent when comped. It's not Cosmo but it's a room in Vegas! ;)

Here's the thing. I don't disagree that your driver could have handled that better. However, keep in mind that for your $9 trip, if he was lucky, he made $5 before tip. Lots and lots of people, particularly on short trips, tip nothing. I used to do airport runs, always helped with bags as much as my bad back would allow, and the number of riders who totally stiffed me was staggering, even after a solo game of Jenga trying to fit a half dozen bags in the trunk of a Hyundai Elantra. For a short trip like that, I'd have a hard time being motivated to help. In no way do I mean this to be disrespectful. I just want to shed some light from the other direction.

I appreciate hearing your side of it! It's very disheartening to me to hear how any people don't tip. And that seems to be in any industry. But, yes, he didn't have to be rude about it.

Couldn't agree more. There's a right and wrong way to deal with people! I'm curious, what was this driver's rating?

I don't remember what it was exactly but it was 4. something. And when I look in my ride history it doesn't show the drivers rating.
