We will be flying in on American Airlines in a couple weeks. I've read that some of the hotels/casinos will give free play for showing your boarding pass. Is there a list somewhere that shows which properties do this? Also, is it only downtown casinos or do strip ones do this as well? Thanks for any help.

Only ones I've ever heard doing this are..

El Cortez - any airline. $25 match play, $10 free play, and I think a free drink. Good once per year, or you must earn 1000 points before doing it multiple times.
The D - Spirit airlines for sure, and I think maybe Southwest? Two $25 match plays
Golden Gate - Allegiant Airlines. Two $25 match plays.

I believe all of these require you do it within 24 hours of arrival, though not sure how closely this is checked.

There are a couple downtown that were said to be doing this previously, primarily ElCo and D, but I have no idea if that's current. I have never heard of anywhere on the Strip doing this. It honestly wouldn't make much sense for them, 99% of people staying on the Strip came from somewhere else.

It really depends on what airline the particular casino has a "partnership" with.

The D has a partnership with SWA.

If you want to make sure, look in the airline magazine and see what promotions are listed. I am not aware of ANYTHING with American. (but I may be wrong).

In mid-June of this year, The D was still doing this for SW Airlines boarding passes...plus, a bonus match-play for mentioning some guy's name.

They told us last month that they are no longer giving free play for Wills or Christopher.

I haven't seen an airline magazine since Covid started, just like Dr's offices, all magazines are removed for fear of transmitting germs.

I haven't flown in awhile, and don't read the Airline magazines anyway. Good to know!

Wow, nice play. They always shoot me down if I try more than once per year.

And here's the angle on Southwest at the D...you don't actually have to fly them if you're holding some Rapid Rewards points. Simply book a ticket then at T-24 hours check in and print your BP. Then cancel ticket for full point refund.

The D accepted Spirit (in July, and I got the Wilks bonus before it ended).

Make sure you include the date in your screenshot I enlarged the QR code and screenshot it ignoring the rest of the info on the page. The boothling said she needed a date for verification. I got out of line, found my confirmation for the flight including date and screenshot that. Then went back and showed both. She said it would be easier for both of us to screenshot the entire boarding pass and then enlarge the code when boarding.
She was right. It was a learning moment. I didn’t mind but never thought of it

I can confirm a screenshot works too. As Bubbakitty also points out, make sure the date is visible on the screenshot. If memory is correct it's not visible at first glance when screenshotting a WN mobile BP.
