MyVegas Premium Rewards Update

The room reward will count as a redemption when it is used.

If the reservation is for March 30, any rewards redeemed before February 28 are a part of a different 4 reward redemption for you.

 

And that would mean a room reservation BEFORE Feb 28 would be permitted, and would not conflict with the Mar 30 reservation based on the “only one room reservation at a time” rule, right?

 

I've never tried it myself, but I believe there are posts on the board that said they could only have 1 rewards reservation at a time, despite anything to do with the max number of rewards you could use every 30 days.

 

Thanks @SH0CK I was afraid that was going to be the problem.

 

You can only have one reservation at a time, even if there is a new batch of awards that you can purchase. You also cannot book a new reservation on an award until 30 days have past if you use all of your premium rewards on a previous trip.

 

Curious, I was just scoping out potential rewards for our December trip and no where could I find out how many premium awards are allowed. TIA for any current info. Cheers!

 

This is one way, there are maybe other places to look, not sure. Go to a comp room reward and click on "next" like you are going to purchase it (you don't have to). That brings up the screen where you enter your name and email to purchase it. The number of rewards you are eligible is in the text in the middle.

 

Strange. I tried what you noted and the number of premium awards didn't populate, so I cancelled the reward. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

 

Which app did you try from? The Facebook version usually is the easiest to find that info.

 

We're set-up with facebook. I just tried it again and no mention of the premium awards allowed. The info was listed when we booked our May trip but nothing now. Weird.

 

This is how my screen looks. It shows 4 rewards, which is what I get. You don't need to make the purchase and cancel the reward to see this, just hit back to browsing.

 

My screen under categories looks totally different, and our accounts are set-up with facebook. I appreciate all the attempts to help me. Come Nov/Dec I'll just book what they allow. Thanks again.

 

Oh, you must not be in the FB app but using Facebook logon. Maybe?

I am a non-paying player and have always understood the limit of 3 PREMIUM rewards in a rolling 30 day period. However, I just noticed that they seem to have added, under "Rewards terms and conditions," "Redemptions limited to any 3 rewards from MGM Resorts International, regardless of type, within a rolling 30 day period." Is this new?

 

I don't have Facebook so I can't say for those games but I see that verbiage in POP, MGM, and Blackjack. myKONAMI still has what I think is the old version. myVEGAS and Bingo doesn't even say anything about the limits. They never had that info.

Looking at my post from August 2021 it was there in POP. Now I'm not 100% sure if I ever ran into this limit and I have mixed premium and non premium in the past. I usually get rewards only from myVEGAS or myKONAMI if it makes any difference.

If I use a room reward, that counts as one of my premium reward redemptions, yes?
