Especially someplace with live music. I don't mind a younger crowd, I just don't want to be the ONLY one there that looks like I could be a mom to everyone else :p (on the other hand, I don't exactly want a hangout where everyone looks like they eat dinner at 4 in afternoon...)

Carnival Court at Harrah's probably checks all your boxes depending on when you go. Evenings and nights are usually more fun.

I've read a few places now that they are eliminating live music though.
Not sure if that is true or not.

Very true, at least temporarily, or at least as long as they can get away with it.

Cabaret at Paris and Extra at PH used to always have live bands, particularly on the weekends, and earlier this month, nada and no evidence of instruments on stage or anything! :(

In good news - it's Vegas, so everywhere tends to be a mix of people. Avoid the actual nightclubs (unless that's your scene, you do you) and there will likely be a good mix of ages at any bar you visit.

As others noted - live music has been pretty hit or miss in Vegas lately - the places that I recall having live music during my last visit a few months ago: Harrah's Piano Bar, Paris Cabaret Bar, and Bally's Indigo Lounge.

Carnaval Court has live music just not every day for the day shift...I know Fri-Sun they have Day shift music...the one issue is they keep raising drink prices, was there last week and a Jack & Coke was almost $18

I think you'll be okay as long as you're not going to a night club. I read that the average age of visitors to Vegas is 49, and the music choices you hear fall very much into that demographic.

    LOL I'm exactly "average."

Nightclubs are not my scene but I do love a wide range of music eras, from the kinds of things my parents listened to when they were young to what my teens listen to now

Yeah, you'll be fine lol. Maybe it's just me focusing on what I can stand, but far and away most of the music I hear in Vegas either live or programmed is classic rock and 80's or 90's hits.

The dueling piano bar at Paris is a lot of fun. I think it’s called Napoleons. Mixed age group. However, I don’t know if it’s been re-opened since covid.

The piano bar at Encore is really good, too.

Forgot about that, as I only came across it by accident when I was staying that side of the property in 2019.

I'm in my upper 30's and I have always loved the Harrah's carnival court ... I've found the crowd to be 30's-50's ... but as others have noted the piano bar inside is usually a bit older crowd.

Another vote for Carnaval Court. Love when the Whip-Its play. Sounds like your age range is good, they play quite a bit of 80's. Check their FB page for current schedule of when they are playing at Carnaval Court.

I find that age doesn't matter at nightclubs, lounges are bars. There are all ages at each. I've even seen grandparents at nightclubs.

What matters is that you have money. Single drinks at night clubs start at $25. Those specialty drinks in the bottles are $50-$65. Tables are $2.5 k+ now. People who have money to spend at the clubs tend to be older. Not 21 year olds.
