Unique things to do at Mandalay Bay?

I always enjoyed going out on the balcony of the Foundation Room. It has the best view of the strip.

 

While we're on the subject of Mandalay Bay, is the tram running daily? All day or just part of the day?

 

The Website still says closed Monday thru Thursday and only 2pm -10pm Friday thru Sunday. I actually sent them a direct message on twitter this morning about it so I'll post if they actually respond. My hope was July 1st they would make changes!

 

Just heard back. Kinda good news.

So many things are closed on Mon-Wed! I'm shocked. Is there no one there during the week? Where do you eat? Glad to hear they are at least running tram on Monday and Tuesday, it is 106 degrees for God's sake! sorry for the rant

 

Dammit! I'm at Luxor Tuesday through Friday... and this is the only tram left in Vegas not running daily I think. Of course.

 

Thats been a permanent every trip since we discovered it, make sure to try the fresh mini doughnuts, they are incredibly tasty. This was regarding Verandahs brunch, missed quoting the OP

 

I dont know if this would be considered unique so to speak but the last few trips we have spent the morning just chilling out walking the grounds at MB and 4S with a cup of coffee after breakfast, nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the casino.

 

That is good news about the Tram, I was going to inquire about it also. Kind of need that tram running, without it, that makes even getting to the NY-NY bridge kind of rough.

 

Agreed. I'm staying Sunday through Friday, so I'll adjust my plans a bit on Tuesday/Wednesday.

There is a nice walking path that goes around the whole pool complex.

 

This is a good one I discovered on my own stumbling around one day. Kind of hard to find unless you're coming in from walking The Strip, in which case it's obvious. Have to go out through the stairs near valet then down a sidewalk that seems to go to nowhere before crossing the street, but it's worth the short hike.

 

Yeah the first time I tried to head there I got lost... haha.

 

I completely second Border Grill's brunch. It was one of the the best, and certainly most unique and authentic, brunch that I've ever had. Great stuff!!!
