Staying two nights at nomad and checked in via the app, Not sure if they were out of rooms (casino seemed busy) but got some sort of suite. Mgm comp stay. Guess it is possible to get upgraded with app check in. Had a normal king booked.

That is the Grande Suite. I had that last month. It was nice, but the water closet being outside of the bedroom was kind of strange. I'm not saying I get up to pee 17 times a night, but if I did, that location would be really inconvenient.

Beyond that, it was a really nice suite.

NoMad seems to upgrade lots of people to suites a few days before arrival. I’m assuming it is based on MLife status and availability.

My friend had a regular king room booked, and he looked a couple days before the trip and it showed an Atelier room on his reservation. He is Platinum with MLife.

This was unexpected bonus on my current trip. Checked in Thursday and had two regular king rooms upgraded to a grande suite and atelier.

Be happy you were upgraded. I had a normal king and did not like it at all, other than it was quiet and the A/C worked

I stayed there on my last trip, when I had a standard booked, and got an Atelier room.

Guy at check in said 'your host upgraded you', but I don't even have one :evillaugh:

Had the same thing with a friend of mine, and when he got there, his Atelier was upgraded to a grand

I had an Mlife comped stay a few weeks ago, booked a standard room and got upgraded to the Atelier suite a week or so prior to arrival. Tried to get another upgrade upon arrival and the front desk said they didn't have anything available. I was willing to pay but didn't bother asking.

What didn’t you like? I stayed there 3 months ago and liked it BECAUSE it was quiet and the A.C. worked. Staying there again over the 4th. The only thing I really didn’t like was the blackjack at parkmgm.

Stayed there over Thanksgiving last year. Had a standard room booked, asked for my Mlife Gold upgrade to an Atelier but was told it was not possible due to it being a suite. Standard room ended up being fine but it's tiny. I'm usually not picky about room size but it felt a little cramped. Still a big upgrade from the drab Park rooms.

Just returned and two Queen room on 31st floor. We did not have the tub next to the bed (which I was glad...I didn't want this). Had a nice large shower instead, but no tub. I was quite pleased with our room even though we were not upgraded to a suite. I didn't bother to ask. Spent our first night at Bally's and hated it. The NoMad will be my "go to" for now. I was loyal to Luxor, but I love the NoMad's location and how easy it is to navigate.

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the Nomad, as I remember you asking about it a little while back :)

I've got 6 nights on each of my next two trips there, and can't wait to get back!

They actually consider their Salon Double a suite due to the size of the room. That is what one of their hosts told me when I was there a few weeks ago.

Oh wow...I did not know this. We did have a separate sitting area but it was not in a separate room. When I think about it...was similar to a suite. Thank you! :wiggle:
