Neon Boneyard and Museum question

    They recommend close toed shoes for the Boneyard tour. If you have done this tour how important do you think it is. First I don't want to haul another pair of shoes. Second we are doing a nice dinner before hand and will be dressed up a bit.

    I saw plenty of people with open toed sandals when we were there. I wore a pair of athletic shoes, but I’m sure if I had worn something open toed I would have been fine.

    It's all on a rocky/gravel and dusty path. It may be uncomfortable for you.

    Also there are things to trip on, so watch your step. I suspect they mainly want people not to wear a $1 pair of flip flops.

    The gravel was pretty fine as i recall i wouldn't want that working into my sandals.

    I wore sandals both times with absolutely no trouble. It is mostly dirt with some smaller rocks.
