Question if Delta is serving meals and/or liquor in first class yet. I only see “snack box” and beer/wine service listed.

They are serving a terrible snack box (get food before you board!) and Liquor now, with Fever Tree mixers which was a nice unexpected boost. All in all I love Delta, but this cheapness is getting ridiculous, of course their 1st class food is always terrible anyhow so guess it doesn't matter that much.

International flights, and possibly some coast to coast flights, that's about the extent of it.

Pretty slim pickings. I have had 3 long-distance domestic First Class or Delta One Flights in the past 45 days, including yesterday. Just three wines, not sure about how much liquor, no amenity kit (I needed a pen yesterday), a small pack of cookies and almonds and then your choice of a snack box. It's getting ridiculous. It's better than nothing but pretty much everyone seated around me was based in the NY metro area and my seat mate had recently flown Jet Blue. We were both like, "how is it that Jet Blue MINT figured out how to start serving great food and drink again last fall and we're still getting a snack box?" We both grabbed a meal ahead of time. Basically, you're paying for a bit more leg room, but not much extra in terms of drinks or food.

That being said, I'm not a Delta hater. Indeed, I now have the Delta Am Ex Platinum card, worked that promo, and also did the status match with Jet Blue Mosaic to become Gold for 3 months. With my two Vegas flights (to and from Vegas from NYC) and my flight yesterday I satisfied the match requirements and got my email that I became Gold through January 2022. I'm already Silver through 2022.

Big Delta fan here and I always fly FC from Pensacola to LAS, via ATL. Sadly, for the last several years, way before the pandemic, Delta’s FC food and liquor offerings have been severely lacking. Gone are the days of a post-boarding/pre-takeoff drink. The food before the pandemic was equal to that of coach years prior. Now it’s just those prepackaged cold sandwich happy meals. Nothing special at all.

They’ll give you all the snacks and water/soda that you want but that’s about it. From my experience you can still get free beer or wine, you just have to ask for it - they don’t come around and ask if you want a drink at random times like they did in days gone by. Not sure if mixed drinks are complimentary.

Thanks all for your replies. I guess CVG to LAS doesn’t count as coast to coast, so won’t be looking for breakfast. (I know Delta meals weren’t the greatest, but leaving so early in the AM, the eggs worked.) Thinking Delta is using this as a strategy test…..will fliers pay the extra $$$ for 1st, for the leg room, 2nd checked bag free, and settle for a snack box and less attentive service? (Figure the majority have first bag free through AMEX, FF, etc.)
Delta Comfort may be a better choice?

And, most importantly, can you still get Woodford?

Yes on the Woodford. Right now though, there are no pre-departure drinks which is just stupid. I stay in the lounge until 20 mins before takeoff and then bounce. Ed is burning a lot of his frequent business travellers and it'll come back and bite him. I logged nearly 300K miles with them last year and this new BS is just garbage. Not that any other domestic outside of Jet Blue has a leg to stand on.....
