I am glad it worked out for you. My passport just expired. I wonder if an expired passport would serve as identification in the states.

If expired then most likely not accepted -depending on what you’re doing. Friend’s mom tried to cash a check at a casino and denied bc if expired dr license.

Glad you were able to get something. Such a thing to worry about! Last trip I was asked for ID when I charged dinner (I put check ID on my cards) and I didn’t have it. Went back to room no ID. Only other place was when I got a players card at Virgin Casino. 20mins later security said they had it. Relieved but then thought about it and they never gave it back to me-so that’s a strike against them.

All of your meals sounded divine!

Bummer about the ID...that's one of my biggest fears. I have started carrying my passport separately just in case I lose my ID. Nice your daughter-in-law could overnight yours.

    Thanks for sharing your adventures!

After seeing videos of UFO’s recently, I wouldn’t be surprised! I’ve always been of the belief that anything is possible!

Nice report and thanks for all the no-nonsense reviews. I need something new to try at Javiers and so the taquitos are next.

Losing my ID and/or wallet are my biggest fears travelling. I have a backup ID somewhere and I think I will start packing it. I did nearly lose mine once, but found it - under a car in the lot where we parked! I think this was my shadow self messing with me - maybe I didn't want to leave lol.

I also carry my Global Entry card when I travel since that can be used for TSA.

My daughter just dropped her DL when she was at Disney a few weeks ago, luckily someone turned it in the following day. I was preparing to mail her passport to her when they found it.

    Nice report!

Bummer about the ID. I briefly lost mine in Vegas once at Excalibur. Didn't realize until we got to the Linq! Ugh. But it was turned in at least!

I really think I accidentally threw it in with my trash on the plane. Otherwise, someone would have returned it to me. I was able to order another one online! Easy peasy!

I may have just hit S&I on a bad day. Let me know how you like Primrose. It was gorgeous outside and the food was exceptional!

FYI - you can still fly without an ID or Passport. Just takes extra time to get through.

I knew that, but I needed it for Vegas to collect on some free play.

Not sure about a passport, but if your drivers license is expired for up to 1 year, you can still fly and get through TSA. I actually just flew to Vegas with an expired driver's licence in April from NYC, and it wasn't a problem. I just stupidly forgot to renew it, with all the issues here in NY with the DMV. Collecting a handpay though could be a problem, even though Caesars already has me in the system from previous handpays. So perhaps it wouldn't be an issue. I also checked into Cosmo and Paris with my expired license with zero issues. Just wanted to add.
