I believe you are correct on that, for loading in the machine. The drink tix are basically TITOs with different stuff printed on them (eject from same place), including a barcode which they scan after you hand the tix in exchange for your beverage. I watched the process more closely when KC and I were exchanging 9 tix at one time because we were about to leave and me eyes were not glued to my next hand of VP.

Day 2 was a great day. The current FE count includes 0, 00, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 with a dinner Rez pending for 9 tonight. I appreciate those who noticed my post about never hitting AwK before and then doing just that a few hours later. (I have also never won Megabucks either...)

My body is sort of keeping me on EST this trip more than before. YES, that could be age!! I also think most of my previous trips were afternoon/evening flights but when I arrived I wanted to enjoy some LV time that first night so I lived off adrenaline for several extra hours and that cycle repeated until departure. I am enjoying that part of this trip and all the other parts too. I do not regret riding the bus to Freemont and back yesterday. I will probably ride it to Wynncore today.

Pro Tip: My watermelon Drip Drop this morning in that to-go Fiji tastes much better than the lemon one in a standard water bottle yesterday!

I love it when my body stays somewhat eastern time. It's easier to get a dinner reservation at 4 or 5pm, and the 5am to 8am timeframe in the casinos is my favorite, especially when I stay at Caesars Palace. Most of the obnoxious drunks have passed out by then, get to see a lot of working girls' walks of shame, often get your own personal server, and all the machines in the casino are available. It's some of the most interesting people watching in Vegas in my opinion, and maybe it's the layout of the place and the lighting but I tend to see the best people watching in the Palace casino at Caesars. I love spending the early hours in the casino and then having breakfast at the stroke of 8am when the restaurants are just opening up; you'll get great service usually and not a lot of noise.

I agree with this. I left my room at 0745, grabbed a Sbux (which I loaded myself), walked through Park MGM (the no smoking is a good idea for that property), casually checked out Eataly, walked to NYNY so I could send @irishdave the picture below, and I am stabbing at some $0.50 DDB for morning fun.

Nice! I'm not an East Coaster, but I am an early riser, and I love the casino in the early morning. Shorter lines for coffee, uncrowded casino, everything tidy, it's a fresh start.

    Keep up the FEs!

I did not strike LIAB (yet) at the $0.50 level of DDB but there is $1 play to come. I liked the vibe inside NYNY. I had walked through it one time many years ago but not lately. I think I will bring Mrs. S to eat at Gallaghers in the future. I walked across the bridge to MGM Grand, about to ride the Deuce up the strip to cash my BB tix at Cromwell.

The Deuce ride was easy and I cashed my SB slip at the cage. It’s always better to win the big bet and lose the little bet.

Very much enjoyed our stay at NYNY this weekend. The rooms could use a bit of a refresh as they're just a little dated, but everything was clean, every staff member was friendly, and the location is great. Lots of food options, at least on the weekend. I miss being able to get good food after midnight, but that seems to be a Strip-wide problem, not a NYNY problem.

Grabbed the Deuce again up to Wynncore; had a scare when my iPhone started overheating; made a hard-reset; all seems okay now; Parasol Up opens at 4:00 and then it will be Smash-time!!

I want to give a shout-out to @Flowers quickly. Her last couple of reports have been incredible. The meals and details have been a pleasure for me to read and she seems like the nicest, kindest person. I hope Mrs. S and I can meet you one day. Until then, this Sinatra Smash tallboy at Parasol Up is toasted to you.

These look like Delta One seats! I've never flown Delta One before but will in a bit more that two weeks.

Catching up on your TR but love your plans and that you are embracing the gloriousness of a solo trip.

Yes, the flight to Vegas turned out to be Delta One and yes, the seats recline completely flat and they were awesome. My return flight to ATL tomorrow is regular FC I believe based on the seat map.
