My local casino here in SoCal runs their buffet by charging a $5 tip when entering. After seated they bring drink order and take order for 4 items on plate. Can order as many times as needed and they keep it flowing very efficiently. Also many choices including desserts. Don't understand why this couldn't be new standard. Mask required in line and before seated or going to restroom. Tables spread out.

I’ll eat at a buffet again. I’m a single traveler and buffets provide me with a variety of food choices that I can eat fairly quickly. When your alone it’s not so much a dinning “ experience “ anymore than just nourishment. I’m not worried about Covid at all.

Have reservations for Wicked Spoon opening day (25th). Love the way they have it roped off with waitstaff behind the ropes, getting your choices

Keep us updated. I will be going for lunch a few days after you. I hope there are more lunch items than stated on their menu.

For $45 I am hoping for more than this: https://assets.ctfassets.net/sahy2rpqbnsp/MGGXAESHFsx6AEs2nfJwy/88de6fd7291b864cdf5a1bbe59a917e7/restaurant-wicked-spoon-food-menu-12.9.20.pdf
But since I have a BOGO and credit I don't mind.

Went to Southpoint buffet on Monday, not bad, most items served . A couple of items that let you pick up- shrimp in a cup. Server brought drinks very efficiently

It has always been a pretty gross concept.
COVID did not change that for me.

I would always go because I normally got them for free and like the variety when going solo. I made a few trips without and realized I didn’t miss it at all. All the food I ate, even stuff I took to the room was of better quality and much fresher. I don’t over eat and rarely feel sick after from all the different types of food. In this case absence did NOT make the heart grow fonder.
