I really want to see costs of upgraded rooms prior to booking. But when I log in and look at rooms all I see is COMP rooms and get like 4 choices.

I know if I book a comp I can then see the upgrades sometimes on my app. But I like to see what rooms I can get. I plan to travel Jan 6-9.

    Thanks

I really wish they would show all the rooms.
it is very silly that if I want to pay for a large suite I have to log out of my "loyalty" rewards even see the costs.
I understand why they might not offer a discount on certain rooms but to not accept money for them is just silly in my opinion

Book a suite with your RCs (Reward Credits), HOW??? You cannot book with RCs, only pay for the room with them.

You would book the suite at whatever price you could get, and then pay with RCs at checkout.

It WOULD require a phone call to a reservations agent, sinch this Is an "out of process" order.

You can either book the suite when you're not logged in, then add your account number when you check in, or call. If you call, you may be able to get a discount.

I actually missed typed that. I know I can't pay with RCs before hand. (I'll blame it on the advent calendar of whisky last night).

Only way to see it is log out of your account and pay public rate. My number 1 complaint about CET. I've called the VIP line and they will quote you what they claim are discount rates, but they are usually public rate or higher. I once had them give me a rate that was about 5% under the web site public rate, but online, I can get a 10% or more discount with ID.me so it was still worse than I could do while logged out as a general public non-member. It upsets me so much. Anecdotal example, I booked the Presidential suite at Ballys last year on a huge "suite escapes" deal while prices were already really low. It was about 199-225 per night for my dates public rate, and with my extra online discount for government/military/first responder I booked it for $169 the first two nights and I think $209 for thanksgiving night. I called the VIP diamond/ 7star line and they said the best price was 235/265 per night on the same nights which was the current advertised rate minus the suite escapes deal that was automatically applied to the public online. I've had several similar experiences to that when calling, which is what CR says is the correct way for comped players to pay for a suite.

They will actually give a huge casino rate discount to someone whose ADT isnt high enough for a comp but not to people who play enough to get comps, and what a stupid, stupid business decision. I know recently I booked a suite at Rio this way. It was $99 and with the ID.me discount it was $84 to book for me. A youtuber I know who is diamond from stays but has no comps was able to book the same suite for $64 logged in to his account. I'm diamond plus from gamble but they wont give me the rate they gave him. D.U.M.B.

This is my biggest complaint with CET. I have no problem paying for a suite if I want it, but I can't book it! Only reason I can think is they want people to earn their tier through gambling. If I pay $200 a night for 5 nights, spending $1000, I get 5000 TC. I'm 1/3 of my way to Diamond. 5000 TC gambling I'm losing a lot more than $1000!

Same complaint really. Some days (weekends and high demand) I’m not comped at CP. For those dates, I can score a suite for a bargain.

When the base room is comped, I cannot even book the suite. I have to pay full retail.

So, when the base room is not comped (thus higher demand) I can book suites at a huge discount. When the base room IS comped (lower demand dates), it’s full price.

    Great logic, CET!

Yep.. There is a way to skirt the system..But as I said before, it is silly that as a "loyal customer" i have to find a loophole (essentially tricking the system into thinking I have never done business with them) to buy something that is available.
If you don't want to offer it at a discount fine (I totally understand why they might not discount a limited supply of suites when they know you are not that level of player and would rather get the revenue or hold them for bigger players) but at least show me what is available to every random person on the street so I can decide if I want to pay for a nicer room or take a lower room for free/discounted price.

You can easily see public prices by just going to their web site and log out of your account. Also, they have no problem with you doing this. After booking, if you are diamond or higher tier, you can call and have the reservation associated with your account and they will remove the resort fees, and in the case of my most recent booking at Caesars Palace, they also refunded my $150 deposit immediately when I called to have the resort fees taken off.

All the theories about saving inventory or encouraging gamble make great sense until you add the factor that they *will* give a huge discount on the suite to a registered player who doesnt gamble enough to get comps. That is what keeps pushing me to MLife, especially since Eldorado apparently drastically reduced comps at Caesars Palace. Like @Timothy pointed out, people dancing on the line of comp at a property can get a free room when demand is low, but when demand is the highest, and they dont get a comp, that's the only time they can get a huge discount on a suite which is contradictory to them wanting to hold those rooms for any reason.

Hack that has worked for me a few times now both in LV and AC. I logged out and looked at the current rates for rooms, then documented what they were for the room types I was looking for. I then called VIP reservations knowing what the actual cost would be and spoke to a person who has provided both comped nights and discounted nights. It seems the website won't offer a room to you for a price, if you can be comped in a lower quality room. Also even if some nights may be comped, if all nights aren't comped the room won't appear.

So for out upcoming trip in May, I had 5 nights comped in a Harrah's Studio Room and my wife had 5 nights in a Harrah's deluxe room. When I called I was able to get 4 of my 5 nights in the executive suite comped and a discounted rate on saturday night compared to the website, they then applied my wife's offers and were able to comp 3 of the 5 nights in an adjoining 2 queen room for the people we are traveling with.

It takes some leg work and some time on the phone, but can be done.

If you're logged in and have comps, but no suite comps, it will just show no rooms available or say sold out on your dates.

But this reminded me of another oddity on their web site, at least in my recent experience: the NOBU rooms are searchable under Caesars Palace or Nobu. And they are cheaper if you search Nobu than if you pick the same Nobu room from a Caesars Palace search, at least in my experience over the last 6 months, 100% of the time.

Hmmmmmm. I find my expereince is different from yours.

    1)I am logged in
2)I have comps but no suite comps

    This is what I get:

    upload_2020-12-14_7-9-42.png
When I click on "select a room" I am given a choice of the suites to book.

Interesting. I hadn't tried it this morning but that was my experience before. I did look *not* logged in and had the same price at Linq and slightly lower at Ballys than in your screenshot (mine showed 58 there - but different dates).

I just tried it while logged in and after I put in dates and clicked search it reverted to the regular booking site with the "Caesars Suites" search option selected. It showed comp for every property but as I clicked on individual properties, they each said no rooms match my preferences, except for Ballys and Flamingo where I have suites comped, and Caesars Palace where it always offers the Nobu suites at elevated pricing and nothing else.

Just searched for a couple nights next week when I'll actually be there on the suites link and this was the resulting page with all properties listed as COMP:

    Screenshot_20201214-102038_Chrome.jpg

Then I clicked on Rio which said COMP like everything else, and this is what it shows me:

    Screenshot_20201214-102055_Chrome.jpg

ETA: just tried your dates logged in and it only gave me 4 properties, where I have comped suites. I signed out and ran the same search as general public and got the same prices as your screenshot for the same dates. I wonder if it didnt carry over your session, but even if it did, that's just public rate, which we can do any time by just not logging in.

Not trying to disagree here. But for many people like me, if a room is not comped, then it doesn't exist.
So I do prefer not to see it anywhere. As a matter of fact, "people asked for " this feature.
From casino's perspective, it is desirable to give away the big suite free to a big gambler than to sell it to a non-gambler (or small player in some cases). That's not a secret or hard to understand concept.

I agree with all of this, the system sucks. Worse, not every suite shows up online and the call to book suites go through VIP which told me they can't book villa level rooms. Considering how dead Vegas is, you'd think they would want to sell $4000 a night suites.

Give you a idea this is how I see things when logged in.

    upload_2020-12-14_13-10-30.png

Now looking at Pairs these are the only room options I can see.
