Thanks Sam! I missed the parlay, but I did end up winning some Top 10 bets, so it wasn’t all bad. [emoji16]

I apologize for being such a downer last night while sitting in my room at Bally’s. My buddy had left and the trip that I look forward to all year was coming to an end. If it weren’t for the incident, this may have been one of my favorite trips. Seeing the Circa Sportsbook in person is amazing! Also, the security at The D and Circa was significantly better than 4 queens. I never felt unsafe at those properties.

I did communicate with a Las Vegas attorney today and described the attack. I will keep you all updated. What I would really like to come out of this, is to get an apology from 4 Queens and for them to improve their onsite security.

    Thanks again!

That’s extremely gracious, they are responsible for your safety within reason. I’m thankful that other than bruised ego your okay. I would be curious to know how many issues, etc. they have had since reopening. Security is not a place for these casinos to cut corners and save a few bucks. A good attorney will find all this out.

You make great points in this post and these are the exact things we said quite vehemently to 4 queens management on multiple occasions. They agreed but said there is nothing that can be done. Complete horsecrap!

The silence from the 4Q is GROSSLY inappropriate. I am sure it has something to do with a potential lawsuit and if they were to forward anything conciliatory it could be construed as some form of responsibility. I am not a lawyer but those are my thoughts. Regardless, F+CK them. The 4Q needs to know this aint right. They do have a little thing called FB and Twitter that could turn up the heat a bit. I would pile on with you for this. Just saying. This is a situation that could easily, and for very little cost, be remedied immediately with security in the lobby. Problem solved. I get to the 4Q almost every trip. Which is to say 4-6 days a year. I am going to re-evaluate this practice going forward.

I'll say I stayed there a few months ago at the Four Queens. It was sketchy at night. It was enough that I went to Aliante to get away for the night. I'm usually paying attention to my environment but I'll do so more next month. Thanks for the trip report and for your honesty.

Aye caramba! I haven't been there mid-week, but on Friday-Monday mornings it is very dead from 5-7 a.m. I bet they are very thin on security during those hours, so that sure isn't helping the situation. Foxes walking around the hen house at that point with little to stop them. It's truly depressing that people prey on others like that. I've never felt truly uncomfortable there, but I am a rather large and grumpy looking individual so I'm probably a less desirable mark.

I have an update; I spoke with Gary at the four Queens this morning who is the Assistant Director of Risk and Security at the Four Queens. Gary told me that the Four Queens would be taking no responsibility for their guest getting attacked and robbed in their hotel elevator. He told me that could have happened anywhere, and their security is just fine, even thought I gave him some suggestions on how to improve it. I was disappointed prior to this, but I am kind of pissed off now at their lack of accountability and compassion. I will NEVER return to the Four Queens.

I am beyond furious reading this response from QQQQ. Hoping you have a bulldog of an attorney.

Unfortunately for Gary, and fortunately for you, he's clearly not an attorney as what he told you is an inaccurate statement of law. I would circle back with the attorney I believe you had spoken with prior, give him/her the exact details of all of your correspondence (leave nothing out), and allow them to provide a professional recommendation.

If this happened on Four Queens premises, which it appears that it did, they most certainly have a duty of care. I can't provide you legal advice over the internet nor for Nevada (nor am I much of a lawyer), but I would strongly suggest you speak to Nevada licensed counsel as soon as able.

I hate hearing you had to go through this, but frankly, I'm not surprised. Thankfully, there's likely statutory authority that overrides whatever this neophyte at the Four Queens told you, what's more important is to get someone whom can help you enforce it (i.e. counsel). As a practical matter, if this information was disseminated publicly, it would be a nightmare from a PR standpoint for the Four Queens.

Sorry to hear about your experience at the 4Q @Matty Ice . We stay downtown once per year in January, and this definitely has me reconsidering staying down there this year. If we do end up down there, I will be sure to be more aware of my surroundings at all times, and also won't be setting a foot in the 4Q.

Great report and so sorry to hear what you endured. On my recent trip I was debating between Aria and Fremont; glad I chose Aria as their security seemed quite good. Also makes me realize how cavalier I probably was walking the Strip late at night by myself.

Here's hoping things get back closer to normal soon and you feel the excitement once again.

Thanks for the TR and details on the robbery. I'm sorry that happened to you. That would put a damper on anyone's trip. It'll be nice when things get back to normal there...eventually. Congrats on the royal flush!

I think, had that assault happened to me, I would get a sign made up that said "I was attacked and robbed in the QQQQ elevator and the QQQQ says they are taking no responsibility" and would walk around Fremont street with it for hours

Thanks for TR! So sorry for your treatment by QQQQ and their response, I will be boycotting them. Hope you can make back your losses at Hollywood Columbus or via your attorney. Positive Karma being sent your way by me.
