Sorry to hear that about 4Q. I hope you’re not injured. Same thing happened at the D this year. 4Q elevator location makes them easy for bad guys to access the hotel towers.

Another reason north tower rooms are not desirable as there is no one in the area to ascertain who is in and out. There is a boothling in the area but they usually just chat up each other or answer simple questions from customers (in my observations).

 

Sorry about the assault & robbery, on our Sept trip we noticed a hoodlum element downtown particularly on weekends, 4 Q people in paticular & downtown in general needs to step forward with super security, the media is not being honest with this problem. Thanks for info, please keepus posted.

 

I have stayed at 4 Queens many times and never felt unsafe. That is terrible!!!

Wow, so sorry to hear. Hope you are ok, stuff like that tends to stick around. We are leaving for Vegas in 2 weeks and I cannot understand why Vegas is not taking security seriously. Then again maybe they are, but the influx of criminals is just too high to control. Hope the rest of your trip goes better

 

Dirty Damn! When staying downtown the past couple of years I've stayed at the 4Q. Now I need to think long and hard about staying there again. I hope that you are not hurt and that you didn't lose much money in the assault.

 

Ok, I was going to address this in the ending to my trip report, but I might as well post it here. I just stayed at 4Q Wed. 11/4 for 3 nights. Everything seemed subdued the first 2 days. Friday afternoon I decided to retire to my room at 4 PM since I was leaving for the airport at 6 AM. I had a good nights sleep and woke a couple hours early. I went downstairs to play a little VP and was unnerved by what you referred to as a “hoodlum element”. I’m no prude and am well trained in various forms of self defense. What I’m referring to is many people acting suspiciously, walking up behind and checking out me playing as one example. Another example was a guy apparently asleep upright in the stairwell of the parking garage who I had to pass within inches to get to my car. I don’t want to get long winded so I’ll just say that there were many more people than I’m used to seeing who didn’t look like they were gambling or partying.

 

What happened to you is horrible! Honestly unless QQQQ responds to you better I have zero interest in going there now. I keep my wits about me in Vegas but you shouldn't have to be so cautious that you can't take an elevator without an escort. Scary stuff.

 

Circa Sportsbook is packed today. College Football, The Masters, and Video Poker. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.

Definitely not happy about the lack of compassion with 4Q. Really sad.

 

Thanks for letting people about know what is going on. Glad you are ok. Hope rest of your trip is better (it pretty much has to be). I routinely go back and forth on the elevators by myself in the early morning while hubby is still sleeping to play while machines I like to play are all open - this makes me think twice about it until things get back to "normal"

Sorry to read about what happened to you at 4Qs. The lack of empathy would really piss me off. I’m glad that you are still alive! I hope that POS who assaulted you gets what he deserves and then some. Karma is a bitch!

I’d move hotels just like you did. F the 4Qs!

That’s awful. Were you in the South or North Tower elevator? Not that either one has security

 

That whole scenario sucks @Matty Ice. But the awesome part is you are pushing on and I just know Karma is hitting in some sort of way. I admire you for bringing up that negative and then just not shutting down. Would totally be a normal thing for you to do so.

So, now you just need to take the strip’s money!

Thank you all for the kind words and empathy, way more than I got from 4 Queens. The crazy thing was, about 2 hours after I got robbed of $900, I hit an $1100 Royal. The gambling gods were looking out for me. [emoji16]
