South Point Limo (SUV) picked us up at JSX terminal and whisked us to SP.
Got in just in time for him to hit the sportsbook, check in, grab some beers, and watch the UFC Khabib fight.
Won $10 off my buddy (gave him 28 to 10) KN v. Gaethje, and won a UFC pickem vs. 3 of my friends on the whole card.

 

Buddy threw a hot one, landed 4 x $5 dealer hard way bets (never betting them for himself) in like 15 minutes...

@AyDee - I’m always baffled by the pictures of your watch. Is this to help you recall something, maybe your signature picture or does it date back to a previous TR? Sorry if this is a silly question.

 

yeah, it's my lazy way of not taking notes, and helps me piece together the order of things, after the trip.

I know, it's kind of annoying, I should switch it up more, but its like a 1 second snapshot,
I omit a lot that show cash in, cash out, etc.
The bezel is usually indicating elapsed session time, or time on property when moving around fast, so in theory I could recreate almost everything in order. (more easily than looking at the EXIF data)
Including BR fluctuations, not that I do lately.
It's kind of great for recording really hot VP runs, though.
or incredibly fast slot smackdowns.

It's also sometimes just something to do to slow the bleeding or mark a low to high turnaround.

It's also definitely to help me recall the wee hours from 1-6 am, especially hard to remember times.

Here's some breaking Chandelier bar news,

• no more Veuve pours unless you got two tickets, later I was told you could order it in HL. The substitute prosecco is meh.
  
• Got sweated for having $10 in a machine when I ordered a drink. They want to see a minimum $20 in (it was, a minute ago),
• one ticket can now only get you a well Manhattan, not even a Makers Mark.
• Super slow playing 3 hand 10 cent whatever can take up to 45 minutes for a ticket.

• My buddy had no clue of DDB VP strategy, he was dumping aces and low pairs, but managed to hit 4 4s for $1k playing $1.

 

I was really drunk and decided what the hell, buy in for $200 on a $25 BJ table, expecting to last <5 minutes.
Things went well, the energy was congenial, buzzed, fun, everyone seemed to know what they were doing,
I was talking about teamwork making the dream work,
We were on a nice run, and the idiot card told me to, honest...
Guy to my right, afterwards, didn't like my split. His wife to my left stood up for me..
It really felt like it'd work. I'll take 3 19s vs a 2 up all day.

as it turned out, guess I ate two bust cards.
and 9s (by the book, regardless of # of decks) are a split vs any card but 7, 10, A.

Anyways, they were real cool and it was a fun time, even left pretty close to even with a few more drinks in me,..
