Champster, awesome reporting! The visible happiness on your faces proves that this trip was precisely as good of a time as it appears to be from the rest of the photos :) I'm very much a fan of balancing "thrifty" and "luxury", and seeing that in your report is awesome. Out of curiosity... I saw you mentioned NA beer at one of the Wynn restaurants. Do you recall what kind they had?

While I've never been to MAG, I happen to love "blistered" tomatoes. I think they're a great accompaniment to a lot of things, especially breakfast dishes.

.... so to answer your question I'd eat them all day :) since I can't eat potatoes (allergy), if we ever happen to be at MAG at the same time I'll happily swap whatever potatoes would have come with my meal for your blistered tomatoes if they're not your thing.

From what I gather, this was at Bugsy and Meyers in the Flamingo, which replaced CUT.

The NA beer was Clauthaser ( or something like that). Oddly enough CET serves Heineken 0 in all of thier casinos which I really like. Host has to search for this brand. Heineken and amber Odouls are my favorite NAs

NA beer at Lakeside was Odouls

Yes we were at Bugsy and Meyers ( Flamingo)

At 63 years old these trips with family are more important now than ever. To have 4/5 39/40 somethings wanting to hang out with Kim and I , crest lifelong memories. Make no mistake about this though. When it got dark outside they needed thier space. Which I gladly gave them.

Sunday morning...football time. As much as I wanted together up and be in the Sportsbook before 9:30...... it just didn’t happen. All the seats were taken...Darn

So i decided to walk down to the Linq to see if I could get a seat there. To my joy. they had a 15 craps game going on and 1 open spot. Heck my BILLS ain’t playing today anyway so I got a spot and put in some work
Nothing earth shattering as far as winnings. Probably lost half of my 300 buy in. Took a slow walk back to Flamingo. It’s probably my first time walking this part of the strip. Crowd seemed like a normal VEGAS crowd

When I arrived back at the pink bird I heard them announce that there was a 3/6 seat available at thier poker room. That’s my game. This would be my D2E48938-69DB-475B-A3B4-BE606339155C.jpeg A719540E-650D-485B-B842-1720CA003FAD.jpeg very first Covid game. I bought in for 100.00 and got stuck in seat 7 ( worse seat in the house for a guy visually impaired). I’m tight aggressive type player. 5/6 of these players saw every flop and at least half the turns. 3 hours later I walked away $274.00. After poker I was pretty tuckered out ( from raking in all those chips). So I called it a night

Monday morning , after coffee, I decided to try the LING craps tables again ( because the 2 Flamingo tables were both 25 minimums. The Linq came through again!

I’ve learned that my best chances at 15 table minimums would be the Linq and Ballys. Bring that Monday is baby daughters 32 birthdate ( which actually celebrated on Saturday) I felt obligated to so something smaller Monday. smaller because 2 of my daughters had flown back to Buffalo as did my son Eric and Melzetta’s bff Marcus. I order the same damn chicken and waffles. But Melzetta’s friend ordered the craziest milkshake that I have ever seen

We sang our Happy birthday sing and the staff brought out ice cream with sparklers

The celebration wasn’t complete without a cocktail served in the huge glasses. Food and service were top notch again

A note about the Sugar FACTORY ( In Fashion Show Malik) They recommend that you make reservations ahead of. Time. I’m glad we did biographer the first viddit be cactuses the 2nd visit we had wait for at least 15/20 minutes. It was worth the wait, But these folks seem to have a system that works pretty well. And the all see to work well will each other

It will definitely be a future stop on our family Vegas Vacations. Prices were fair too.
