While The D/Golden Gate is tinkering with their loyalty program in preparation for Circa (when I'm guessing they'll rollout tier status + reward credits), I noticed I could convert my D points + my Golden Gate points to freeplay at one location. Previously they were separate.

Looking online, I now see a negative balance for Golden Gate. I'm guessing it'll be reconciled soon, but maybe I should run to The D and see if I can use my remaining points!

Interesting. I just checked mine after reading this and I still see separate totals. I'd love for them to consolidate across properties.

Huh. I just checked and my earned comps disappeared. I swear I had ~$40 still in there after my last trip.

Weird. I have a $25 carry over from my August trip and its still there. Sounds like maybe they're doing some maintenance perhaps and hopefully it all reappears.

I played some at GG, then went to The D and saw that I could convert those points to freeplay. So it looks like it's now property-wide.

You have to play your free play at the casino you earned the free play from and same with food comp from your mailing offers. Regular comp and points you can use at any club one property.

Hopefully if/when they switch to a new loyalty program when Circa comes onboard, it'll be less confusing, but here's how I understand it:

Monthly (or semi-monthly) freeplay offers are specific to the property.
Monthly matchplay offers are specific to the property.
Monthly food credit can be used at either.

All of this can also be redeemed without a hotel stay.

When you play, you earn comps and points.

Comps can be used at the D gift shop and either property's restaurants plus some external restaurants such as Eureka, Nacho Daddy, Le Thai, etc.

Points can be converted to freeplay and used at either property (which I just found out last night but don't know if it was a fluke).

monthly food credit has the same rule as the free play unfortunately. I learned that earlier in the pizza rock post in the restaurant section.. I get monthly food credit at the D that can only be used at the D. Comp I can used at any club one property + the other locations named, but not the monthly food credit.
