9/3 to 9/9 first Labor day trip. Wynn, Caesars, Paris

Hello VMB'ers,

It is time again to visit the degen capital of the world (sans Macau). It has been more than a month since my last trip with the parents. This trip no parents (but they will be coming again in October) just me and my partner for some r & r degening time. Originally was suppose to go to Vegas on 9/8 for the kickoff of the NFL season but ultimately decided on this weekend due to having more time off from work instead of working from Vegas. This will give me and my partner to do what we love which is to slot it up on our favorite video slot and video poker machines. Hoping to get a few of those elusive dollar royals Tarpie got. Also thanks to @FABismonte for his tips for my upcoming trip.

Many will be curious of the crowds and table limits during this holiday so I will do my best to inform on those subjects.

Accommodations are in the following order: Wynn, Caesars (was only place that would comp me Saturday short notice), Wynn again, Paris.

Food: NOBU, Hugo's Cellar, Harrah's Oyster Bar, Nine Fine Irishmen, Hash House, Hattie B's of course, and more.

Last trip I wasn't updating very well since I had my parents so I will do my best to update semi live more often with scenery pics, food pics, and any notable slot hits. Goal is to update 1-2 times a day with pictures. If video poker bars come back then I will update more often as I play and drank however that is not very likely.

Also looks like Caesars is sold out for Saturday (not sure if due to capacity limits) so I got lucky with the short notice comp. Might be packed this Labor day weekend.

We made it! First stop was NFI before checking in to Wynn. The fish and chips were great! The nachos were good too but remember they were better before. However the food still great!

NYNY wasn’t that busy. Wynn slightly more busy. I’m finishing my Fantasy football draft before heading out for some slots and drinks!


At NFI they converted a portion of the walk up drink window for seating.

 

Drinks at Vanderpump to use my 4 diamond drinks. First drink to the left is the Margarita next to the Giggy Tonic. Boy do they make the drinks strong here. Second round of drinks to the left is the Nutjob next to the Veni Vidi Lychee. Loved the drink to the right hands down my favorite. It’s like a variation of a Moscow Mule.

Afterwards we went to slot it up at the linq and actually broke even after playing two hours of Farmville. We love this game now for some reason lol. However I felt like playing some blackjack afterwards and it was a blood bath losing about 90% of my hands. I waited and it never got better I am done with blackjack for this trip after that beating.


Going to eat and play some more. Just recovering from the Vanderpump drinks last night lol

 

Wow BT I love those drinks. And I like actual crystal glassware. I am putting Vanderpumps on my list. What time did you go to Vanderpumps and was there a line?

Yay! Another BT Engineer guy report........my BT Engineer guy currently on the golf course. Cheesed cause he had to wear pants for the first time this season. Shorts days over. Have fun, looking forward to following along. We can't wait to get back to Vegas but who knows when that will be?

 

The glassware there was fantastic! I went around 9pm on Thursday. The receptionist saw my Diamond card and acknowledged it. Not sure if it helped me get seated for what it’s worth. The receptionist seated me under a minute when I was first in line but more people got in line shortly after about 3 couples. After he said it was going to be a wait first so possibly there is a benefit for Diamond. If I go again I will try to confirm it bud.

 

I’m glad we weren’t the only ones who felt that way lol It’s good they make them strong for a $18-20 drink haha
