This was an awesome TR UK! Quick naive question - how do you get those large funds for the shopping spree? Is that some sort of Wynn backend comp for play from your host? Congrats on leaving a winner!

It’s an event they do once or twice a year. The amount of the gift cards varies based on the level of the player. I have received different amounts at different times

One other observation from this morning. The security for the C gates at LAS was crushed with people this morning. Pre check was no problem and fast. But regular security line stretched all the way back to the zero level escalators. And that was at 515 in the morning! So give yourself plenty of time

Finally tally: won $19,881 and spent $307 out of pocket (most of that was the flight cost). Definitely a successful trip.

After I got home, my partner asked me if I was planning to go again anytime soon. I told her I am not sure. I am under the impression that Wynn is doing a better job than most of keeping things safe, but I still felt there were moments that were probably too risky. But either way, I got my gambling fill for a while and have some small baseball and football bets to follow for a while. I plan to keep an eye on the stats and trends from Vegas (thanks to Sonya for updating that info daily!). Hopefully a return trip will be sooner rather than later

Nice Win. UKF. Great to see you left in the black. Thanks for the TR. I'm tempted to go but think it is still better I stay home. It's bad that SW didn't get you the table but if it was that crowed it might have been better to not have dinner there.

Again thanks for taking us along with your TR.

After I got over my initial grumpiness about the situation, I came to the same conclusion. As others have also noted, SW had the least distancing between tables (inside and out) of any of the restaurants I saw. I ate or looked in Charlie's Bar, Mizumi, Terrace Point Cafe, Drugstore Cafe, Allegro, and Wazuzu and they all had safer spacing between the guests

Really appreciated this trip report, thanks for taking precious Vegas time to keep us up to speed. You've inspired me to write my own report in two weeks!

lol, she loved them. Even though she already knew I was bringing them home, her reaction was priceless. She looked at all the other stuff I bought her, then tried on the Kenzo shoes, and finally opened the Chanel box last. The shoes fit perfectly and she was so genuinely excited that I remarked I wish I owned anything that made me that happy, lol

I told her of my plan to find a Leiber sparkly kitty bag (she has seen them with me at the Wynn in the past). I know she would have loved that, but the shoes were a big hit

Go for it! I admit, its not always easy to keep it up. Mid-day Friday after the four hour gambling rush, part of me really wanted to call it quits. Felt like I was already too far behind to keep everyone up to date. So I would suggest either waiting til you're home and writing a recap report, or if you do it live, try to break it up into lots of smaller posts. Writing a ten or fifteen post is a lot easier during a trip than trying to spend an hour recapping an entire day! It got a lot easier Friday afternoon when I started writing the shorter posts

I agree with this 100%. Much easier to just update throughout the day whenever you have downtime such as sitting at the pool, etc than to try and do it all in the evenings. Additionally, if you go to Vegas with a wife or significant other, it’s also a convenient thing to do while waiting for said significant other to get ready to go out on any adventures.
