I’m new to the comp/reward/point systems and I’m wondering where would I get the most bang for my buck for points/reward credits. Mlife, Caesars Rewards, Identity (Cosmo), or Red Card (Wynn)? I have signed up for all of them online but have no history of play.

I plan on going to Vegas Aug 29th-Sept 3rd. I currently have Paris, Cosmo, and Encore booked just to experience different properties but I’m considering switching all nights to one property if it would help with rewards/comps for future trips. Thanks.

How much do you play? Bankroll is the not THE measurement, but it gives folks a rough idea. Do you will to loose $100 a day, $500, $1000, etc.
    What do you play?
Do you visit any other cities with casinos?
How often do you expect to visit Vegas or other places?

side note - any points earned paying for hotel may earn points, but ACTUAL PLAY is what results in comps.

If the question is what program rewards most for spend, the answer is clearly Cosmo’s Identity program in my eyes. You’ll climb tiers quickly and receive tangible benefits each step of the way.

Once you throw gambling in, that’s a different animal. I’m of the opinion that you should figure out where you want to stay/play on your budget and not worry about the comps unless you’re being seriously mistreated in that regard.

Willing to lose up to $500/day. Probably will play slots and video poker with a little roulette. I do not visit other cities with casinos currently. I will probably visit Vegas 2 to 3 times a year.

What kind of Vegas vibe do you like? I think that plays a huge part in this.

Just do what you're doing, and play as you wish to on the trip.

See what comes out of it, with regards to offers and then go from there. I'd guess you'll play most wherever you're having the most fun.

If nothing satisfactory comes out of the trip, I think it was BeeeJay that said 'Comp yourself'.

    Completely agree!
If you start worring about comps/rewards before you start gambling, you are doing it terribly wrong.

At night, I like it to be fairly wild and crazy with lots of people. I stayed at Cosmo about 6 years ago and really liked the vibe then.

Ok thanks for the advice guys. I’ll keep what I have booked and see what happens.

Then personally for me, if I knew I wasn't chasing comps and playing within my budget hoping to get future offers attached to that play, I'd chose Cosmo

I mostly agree with the above comments. Except that you say you have no play history with any of the listed player's programs. Your best offer going forward will be the teaser offer they give you when you first play. You only get this shot once. You should concentrate more of your play at one property. Given your list, I would probably pick Cosmo to play bigger and then do a smaller amount at Paris as CET doesn't require as much. Or do Encore and Paris, but I have found Red Card harder to get comps. After that you can play as normal and get whatever comps you get.

I LOVE travel, and interior design. I can understand why you booked different rooms, to figure out what you like. But let me tell you, waking up around 10 am each day, having to move all your stuff, and in some cases, maybe not during COVID, wait a few hours for your next hotel can get tiresome. I get bored of it after a week when I only switched twice, and you're switching twice in 3-4 days! Maybe give up Paris unless you like traditional, aging stuff... lol

good idea to get a test of various casinos. There are people that love each of those and people that hate each of those.

Wynn of course is higher end. CET is most apt to give out offers.

What everyone else said plus try to keep play at one players program per day. They look at average daily theoretical loss, if you lose $200 a day at 3 different players clubs it does not look as good as losing $600 @ 1.

I hear you but I changed my flight at the last minute to arrive on Saturday and Paris was the cheapest ($100) somewhat nicer center Strip hotel. I don’t mind moving since I’ll have a rental car. Just leave my bags in the car. Plus I plan on spending the day Downtown when I check out of Cosmo and before I check into Encore.

Thanks for the tips about where to play. I’ll probably stick with Cosmo for most of my play.
