OMGosh! Mobility issue people, please be aware!!! They moved the car rental shuttle drop off even FARTHER than last time. At the total opposite end from SWA checkin. I requested a wheelchair from the driver for SWA. He said he hadnt been able to get one, since they moved rhe dropoff spot. Luckily, I did get one! The guy was a real worker! I tipped him $5. After that, us in wheelchairs get lined up like a little old folks train. Ha.

MGin sorry about busting the bankroll. I wouldn’t worry though, as I fully expect you to hit the other side of variance on your way back.

Thanks for a fun report! Sorry the gambling wasn’t terrific, but it was fun following along and great pics. Glad you liked M Resort. We used to stay there years ago and really liked it.

Thanks for the fun and informative report! Sorry about the loss but glad to see that you otherwise had a good time.

While I love the energy of Vegas I too would not be unhappy about experiencing a quieter and less-crowded Vegas though I know that's not helpful to the casinos' bottom line.

I found your trip report very interesting. I’m sorry this time that you didn’t win like you did the last time. But I feel certain that the October trip will turn things around for you. I wish we could meet you there in October, but we’re just big scaredy cats. Maybe we’ll see you in the spring.

I'm truly sorry you had a bad variance experience.
    There's always next time.
It is a little surreal in there, isn't it?

we used to always joke about it when we got home from vegas,
"I wish I could just go down and poke at a few machines for an hour or two"

It felt like that wish, your very own personal casino.
There are plusses and minuses that go with that,
but I'm glad I got to experience, and document it,
    hopefully
, it will be a once in a lifetime experience.

*Those slant tops at Plaza are pretty nice, brand new & 9/6. Just sayin';)
(we used to never be able to stand the smell there. It is much improved)

Thanks for the TR - now it looks like I may have to try out M too (lol Boyd, CET, and Cosmo seem to be going through some things based on recent TRs... hey, plenty of places to go :) ). May the gods of odds be working in your favor next trip

Fyi: not too bummed out about losing. I had the $$, and i only take what i can afford to lose. We all know we can not win every time, even though we wish it.
I enjoyed the quietness and pretty quick cocktail service. The M Resort gal was great..she got $2 ea time, and a $5 at the end! Oh, i tipped every drink $2 and 25-30% at every meal.

And thanks for all the replies!

If you had fun then the trip and everything that came with it is worth it. Regardless of the outcome.

    Thank you for the report!

I really enjoyed reading about your trip, you seem to have a great grasp about what you want out of your trips. It's more about the chase than about the results. As you said it's money you can afford ( win or lose).
Have another great trip in Oct. and always keep having fun.

Great report! I always follow you on Blonde's board, too. I've stayed at the M twice---loved it both times. Now....for the big question....Where did you buy/find the fantastic masks?! Good luck on your next trip!
