Prayers Needed

VMB Family - although I’m relatively new here and don’t know many of you, I still feel like we are family. I enjoy sharing in the laughter and good times on the board. I come to you asking for prayers.

My dad, who turns 71 tomorrow, had open heart surgery yesterday and is suffering from complications that occurred during the surgery. I don’t want to go into details about it, but the outlook is grim. My dad is a fighter and good with the Lord so I’m keeping my faith! I can thank him for the life he’s led - serving in the Air Force for 22 years, he’s been a hero all my life! He’s also instilled the characteristics that made me the man and dad that I am today. I’m taking this hard but glad the last words I spoke to him on Sunday were that I loved him.

I ask that you pray for his recovery and my mom who is struggling as they are sharing their 48th wedding anniversary in a few months!
