    My Trip Report

Checked into the beau at about 845pm cst. $100 baccarat, $50 BJ, $25 BJ, $25 Pai Gow Poker, $15 craps (not too bad). $15 Texas hold ‘em, $25 3 card poker, $15 roulette. All to rich for me, table limits at 1am cst were the same as at 9pm.

Played slots for a few hours and did a good amount of coin in compared to the $100 I budgeted for the night. I think at least since I earned about $10 in express comps. Had some decent slot wins of about $100 on 90 cent bets.

Checkin was smooth, no wait. Was advised there is no room cleaning while you are a guest unless requested. Masks are mandated, and patrons are doing ok with them. I haven’t seen too much Auxiliary cleaning occurring, but overall you can tell the machines are being tended too.

Drink service seems very slow (30min wait after ordering, 1 hour + between being offered a drink). Waitress seems miserable overall.

Gong to check our some places hopefully with lower limits tomorrow.

Have a great trip. Drink service has always sucked for me at the Beau Rivage.

I drink faster than my wife. We each order a drink when the waitress comes around then I finish her's off.

One tip on drink service at the Beau is to play in that area close to the players club. One of the main service bars is located behind the wall next to the players club. The cocktail waitresses have to walk thru that area going and coming so they are more likely to see you. Plus whomever is assigned to that area has a much shorter walk between taking orders and delivering.

This morning we got up from a good restful sleep, grabbed a bagel and coffee each from the cafe. Next we headed to check out boomtown and the palace. Boomtown as pretty sad looking, only had 2 tables open and Servpro cleaning something up.

We saw boomtown last night coming in all lit up, and it looked cool and old from the highway. It was old and smoky for sure! Had some ok slot play but it surely was a boom and a bust!

Headed over to the palace and they are very clean, and are taking cleaning super serious. Probably one of the cleanest casinos I have been in. Played some $10 BJ for a 4 shoes. Was up $80 and left $25 down (I’ll call that a win). Dealer was friendly, until they changed and they parked one with no personality which is why I left. Got some free play (5, then $15) for being new members, and a follow up $25 email offer. We probably will stop back over to the palace tomorrow, we enjoyed the friendly staff and were offered drinks constantly (little too early- and I was driving so I didn’t participate) Donated some money to the slots, and ended up partaking in the buffet which is open.

Buffet is basic, but the staff serves you so we felt safe. Plus they were half off since we got some slot points. $20 with a tip for two lunches is a win.

Going to float around and probably fake gamble for some watered down drinks for a bit this afternoon and check out the hard rock. Still seems pretty empty around.

One thing I learned here... parking garages at 6’-8” max height. My truck is 6’-4”... that’s a bit nerve racking! If you visit... leave the lifted truck home!

Last nights coin is was $925, I had quite a bit of play off of $100. Hopefully tonight is as good! If the rain will get lost for a bit we will head to the hard rock. It seems like this week might stay rainy, I was hoping to even out this farmers tan a bit poolside.... haven’t even seen the pool yet.

I always had good cocktail service at The Beau playing BJ except for the lack of premium tequilas. I may be flying down the end of October for B Day after canceling my Vegas trip a few days ago. I may just buy a bottle & refill in my room!

Calling it a night. Spent a few hours at hard rock, it was very clean and they had staff constantly cleaning. Drink service was decent, every other two slot machines are off in the slot banks. Tables were about non existent.

After dinner found BJ for $15 min, Craps at $25 min, 3 card poker $10 min, Mississippi stud $15 min.

Craps was packed at $25 like a normal pre pandemic table. We grabbed a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe with their minimal menu. Food was quick and decent, service was very fast with reduced capacity. There was a temp check for the cafe but not to go inside casino. Machines paid out decent, hit a few good bonus rounds on quick hit. We both called it a night drunk and up a total of $20 with two free tee shirts.

Going to check in on the IP and Treasure Bay tomorrow probably...

Good Luck tomorrow. As encouragement, I will share that the last time I was in IP about three weeks ago, I hit a slot machine for two thousand dollars. There is a picture of it in my TR in this forum called "Blind Hog finds an Acorn. I hope you can do the same.

Didn’t end up making it any further than treasure bay. Sat at treasure island from 12-4 playing $5 BJ... went to lunch/lupper at slap ya mama bbq. Great bbq food. Went back to treasure island for more $5 BJ... played for about 6 hours total and made a profit of $220. Kind of old place, but tables we as follows:

BJ : $3 (strange rules), $5, $10, $15. Pai gow $5, 3 card poker $3+, roulette, $4 min inside or out, Mississippi stud $2-3 min. Craps $10. Craps table was swamped all day.

Fast drinks at tables, got served 8 beers and left up $220 after tipping well.

Wife lost $100 at slots... but new members get a slot match back the next day.

Had a blast playing, glad I found a low limit table and had some good action. Tables have plastic dividers and the pit crew cleans each chair after a patron. lots of sanitizing.

Just finished the evening at beau for a bit of slot play. Donated some cash to the slots.

    Evening table minimums at Beau

    BJ- $15, $25, $50
    3 Card Poker/ Mississippi Stud: $15
    Craps-$15
    Roulette-$15
    Pai Gow Poker- $25
    Baccarat- $25, $100

More tables open tonight than on Monday, but most closed, and the ones open were full. Found out most all food choices close at 10pm the hard way.

Ended up grabbing pizza from a place at hard rock (wasn’t awesome). People at hard rock seem to be having a great time, super wasted and running around without their masks on correctly.

Pool day tomorrow, followed by some final play.

I'll be there for the first time in October and found a car for a decent price for the entire time. Think it'd be worth it so we can hop around to check out the other casinos? We'd basically not use the transportation that's included from mlife

We drove here in my truck... so having a car would be pretty necessary to explore.... There is the casino hopper trolly thing... I saw that rolling around empty which I wouldn’t mind using.

I don’t hear the airport so if your flying in I’m not sure how far of a journey that is but I haven’t seen any taxis and I haven’t seen really any Uber’s... having your own clean car might be a good move!
