    34 hours behind the wheel. Coulda been there sooner but there's road work just outside Amarillo and just up from the Dairy Queen in Pensacola.
    The Flying Petri Dish would shave off close to thirty hours, but it ain't happenin. :cool:

    2,111 miles. 30 driving, 29 days walking... I drove it once back before I was tied up with work and could do such things. Ended up being gone for a month floating around and staying at different campgrounds. Those were the days...

    Actually, I bet it would be!! I have driven cross country and back, including from Vegas, as part of a large cross country tour. If I had the time and things were a bit better pandemic wise I'd do it in a heart beat!

    1323 miles and only 17 days to walk. I think I would be dead before I got out of Texas. I have driven straight thru twice from Vegas to back home in about 18 hours.

    Thought I would join in on the fun. It’s a good day’s drive for me - and not one I would do again. Have driven from Los Angeles to here before and also from Vegas to here on a different trip. Makes for some long car travels even when you can see different sights around the country.

    I started to make the walk and realized by the time I got to the end of the street, there was no way I could make it there in 25 days! :faint:
