I've got a bunch but will start with Leslie Knope, Ron Swanson and April Ludgate from Parks and Rec :headbang:

    Anybody else with some faves?

April is my spirit animal. I also love Tom and Ron. Parks and Rec may be my favorite sitcom ever.

    The Office:

Pam and Jim stay at the Shcrute Farm. Mose is the best!

Pam: "Oh my God. What century is this?". Priceless. :evillaugh:

Do you know who the man who plays Mose is, in real life? Pretty impressive resume as it relates to this thread! Also, I may or may not have an outfit inspired by one of these shows that mat or may not appear in an upcoming TR next week.

    The Office: gotta be Creed.

P&R: well Aubrey Plaza is quite possibly at the very top of my cheat list. If April Ludgate and Ron Swanson had a child, that child would be a lot like me I think.

Husband reminds me of Ron back when we were dating. The sentiment in differentiating his caring about Lelsie as a friend vs anything romantic is a wonderful thing to see. Love him.

    Also, Duke Silver is awesome!

I’ve always appreciated seeing Ron and Leslie as platonic as well as the way he’s kind of a father figure to April. I love Nick Offerman. I’ve seen him twice live and his show with his wife Megan Mullaly (Tammy 2) May have been the most hilarious, dirtiest thing I’ve seen in public.

Parks and Rec was entertaining, but I never got into it enough to watch it with regularity, or have a favorite.

As for the Office, I watched that show religiously back in the day.

I'm not sure how to pick a favorite, since they all have moments. Dwight's absurd life probably was the most entertaining. Stanley was often an entertaining character that we usually got in small doses. Whether it was fun Stanley, disinterested Stanley or angry Stanley, it was a great character, and played to perfection by Leslie David Baker. When Stanley berates Ryan because Stanley is led to believe Ryan is flirting with Stanley's teenage daughter, that might be the single greatest scene in the show. (Scene starts at 1:09, I couldn't get the embed to let me start the clip in the middle.)

Runner up for greatest scene would be when Dwight comes to the office, impersonating Jim, for retaliation.

As for the women: Pam was like Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island, she seemed like the woman you dream of marrying. She may not have been confident in her art skills, she may have been engaged to a meathead, but I don't remember her ever being portrayed in a way that made her unlikable.

Angela, on the other hand, seemed like a total pain in the ass, 24/7. But her willingness to hook up with a weirdo like Dwight made you think she had a wild side that would be rather appealing, so long as you could deal with her many neurotic tendencies. Jan and Nellie had a certain appeal as well, if you were spending a weekend in Vegas with them. The rest of the year in Scranton, not so much.
