I really like this channel. The couple seems so lovely and they did a great job documenting the safety measures from the MGM Grand post covid. I've linked 2 videos below and notes and time stamps if you want to skip to those noted parts

    1st video

Safety seal on room door indicating the room has been sanitized @3:13
Safety care package in room containing 2 protective masks, a button presser/door opener key chain tool, sanitizer, pen with stylus @ 4:54. (The pen and button presser would work really well with slot machines and touch screen games)
Sleeve for remote indicating it has been cleaned @ 8:41
Social distance floor decals, plexiglass dividers, and mobile check in kiosk at hotel check in@ 8:55
    Also mentions temperature checks
Hand washing/ hand sanitizer stations on the casino floor w/ masks and gloves @9:36

    2nd video

Eating at the Avenue Cafe, tables are kept socially distant @ 2:17
No menus. Menu can be seen online using your phone and QR code provided @ 2:50
Mentions that service is slower than normal probably due to under staffing
Food is served in a covered lid, much how like room service is served @6:36
No salt and pepper shakers, syrup, hot sauce, or ketchup bottles. You are given individual packets @ 6:52
Coffee cup is not refilled, they just give you a brand new filled mug

The online menus would be a problem for me since I don't have a smart phone (still using ols flip phone).

They have them at Zuma, too, and other places. It's the one safety measure that drives me nuts and I wish they would knock off. I have a brand-new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, but I can never get the QR reader to work (probably because I'm dumb). Some places are basically using printed-out menus that they toss after every guest, and I'm totally fine with that.

Did you notice that the safety seal on the room didn't break when they opened the door? it just unstuck.. so it could easily just be put back on.

Don't call attention to that! Thats how I'm able to taste the different Pringles flavors in the grocery store.

    Interesting.

I thought of a couple things.

Those plexiglass dividers, I don't know if translucent plexiglass exists, but that might have been better than clear, or maybe they should throw some stickers on them so people don't whack into them.

The QR codes instead of menus, it's funny that instead of just having throwaway menus or slips with the QR, they put the QR code thing inside a plexiglass holder that everybody will handle, lol. I suppose they probably clean them when they clean the tables.

I've ran into a clear glass door... in front of a lot of people... if it happened to someone else I would have thought it was the funniest thing in the world

I’m loving the QR menu code trend. I hope that’s a new permanent, with minimal printed menus for those who can’t or won’t use the QR code’s.

When we got to our room, the maintenance guy was just leaving since apparently the previous guest had left the safe locked. The seal was still intact.
