Joe Pesci is a great villain from Home Alone, Goodfellas and another Vegas mention for Casino which is an awesome film.

    Amazing actor.

The 'elder god tier villain' meme can often be trolling or divisive, but this one for The Office is pretty funny.

    Neegan

Dexter (though in my mind, he's a hero)

I was wondering when someone would say Neegan.

Yeah, Dexter is a good guy. Sorta.

Iago, from Othello, always struck me as the ultimate villain.

Going to movies/TV, since Alan Rickman has been mentioned already, I have to bring up Viggo Mortensen playing Lucifer in The Prophecy. Pretty great cheesy movie, with a surprisingly good performance from Viggo

Alan Rickman was so great at playing a bad guys, his Sheriff Nottingham was brilliantly performed and the role of Hans in Die Hard as well. The scene where he falls from the building he looks shocked, that's because he was told that he would be dropped on the count of 3 from the platform he was hanging from. The director John Mctiernan however felt that it would be better if he was dropped on the count of 2 as it would be more natural reaction. So Mctiernan told the guy who was dropping Rickman to let go on the count of 2.
Joe Pesci was also very convincing and nasty in Casino, the character was based on Anthony Spilotro who was a nasty guy in real life but who always got away with it until the mob sorted him.

It was said that "Tony The Ant" was fond of mayhem and violence, as long as he was the one doing the inflicting.

I'll see your Sheik and raise you one doctor. Dr. D, David Schultz was the ultimate redneck who dared to wear a bad poodle cut and was not above making references to Queen and Dr. Hook in the same interview.

Before the American “House of Cards” there was Francis Urquhart. What a bastard! My favorite!
