Trip report 6. 3 - ?

on my way to vegas. Flying out now plan on spending a night downtown today but I need to get a hold of a host when I land for a room. When I called the Golden nugget last night the hosts weren't working yet. So ill land book a car and drive downtown. After that I've got 2 nights at the cosmo and then we will see if I extend or go elsewhere.

Ft Lauderdale had a parking garage closed so it was a bit of a hassle. But checkin and tsa were fine. Masks weren't required until boarding the plane. I would say the rows are 80 percent full with no middle seats taken.

my wife bought a giant bag of oreos. so she will be eating them slowly to not ware a mask.

anyone have a casino host email at the GN or elsewhere downtown that is working this am. Im not to excited to pay for a room and want to get it comped.

I took a power 1 hr nap , woke up and had a room set up for me at the nugget. We will porbably go for a quick swim, eat dinner, then get ready for the midnight kickoff.

 

We made it to vegas. Decided against renting a car. So we will grab an upper to the golden nugget
