I fly out of Syracuse and my flight prices are ridiculously low. I’m booked first class for half of what I usually pay for economy for my July trip. Usually my prices are higher than everyone else’s since there are no direct flights to Vegas from here. Both my outbound and returning flights connect in Charlotte.

im all over the place with travel credits. i canceled my southwest flights for my august trip which was to use about 35k in points ($500 cash value, allegedly) and $22 out of pocket was actually refunded (i thought they would only issue me a future credit for this $).
rebooked out of charlotte but paid $115 round trip for 2 people and it can be changed/cancelled.

I just booked Memorial Day weekend for $128 roundtrip from Rhode Island on Southwest.
Reserved a comp in the Octavius tower, so hopefully Caesars will be open by then!

I am too. I had a whole bunch of trips planned for March, April and May. In addition to personal travel and non-Vegas travel, I had a lot of work trips scheduled. So I have a whole lot of Amtrak credit that I have been reimbursed for through my job, as Amtrak is issuing credits and not refunding. I am not sure if I can use these for future work trips, since we are no longer allowed to travel for work indefinitely. So do I get to keep those credits? Or use them for work? My company will not approve any hotels. I don't expect them to change this before this credit expires. The first $500 credit expires in February.

I just re-booked our August flights for $99 each way. For those of you that live near an airport when SW is more prominent and has more flights you probably won't understand how cheap $99 is from Pittsburgh. It's like pennies. It cost over $40 to drive from one end of this state to the other on the PA Turnpike. $99 to Vegas on an airline other than Spirit is simply unheard of.

I'm only semi-excited about this because it's probably just more evidence that we aren't going to get to go due to restrictions still in place. We were going to a concert in Pittsburgh the night before and that isn't likely to happen either at this point.

    2020 can suck it.

We will. My only hope is this whole thing serves as a wake up call for all business in this country, airlines included.

We will likely lose a major carrier which will in turn force prices up on other carriers. Hopefully they will take this opportunity to improve the shitty product they have been giving us. Again, this goes for all businesses, IMO. Maybe they will recognize exactly how important their frontline employee is instead of treating them like an interchangeable minimum wage necessity.

It likely won't be long until my hopes are crushed, but if companies start to run their businesses like businesses were supposed to run all along (with the customer in mind as to attract even more customers) instead of running it from a spreadsheet in their skyrise office a thousand miles away then maybe, just maybe we get something out of this mess.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, I paid $498 for a full lay down seat on Delta from JFK for $498. Just looked and it is now up to $3220. Yeesh.
