We are now approaching +8 hours since this was posted. I am hoping Bull is not hand-cuffed to a bed or worse.

The big question is... did you put pictures of your suite in your Tinder profile, with something in your bio to the effect of "This suite has a nice ceiling, you'll probably enjoy looking at it" ? ;)

Alrighty VMB..... What a night lol. I got some good news and some bad news. Good news: I took home a girl I met last night and had a blast in my luxurious suite. Bad news: She apparently robbed me. Literally the first thing I did when I got to the room was put my bankroll in the safe and locked it. I guess she saw me put in the combination and took it this morning when she left. Safe door open, cash gone. Ughhh. It was only my winnings from the last few months on football and I had more cash hidden in my carry-on, but, now my gaming budget is limited to $600 for the rest of the trip.... I feel like such a damn rube lol. Done got hustled on Tinder.... Don't get me wrong, it was almost worth it but this sucks. Live and learn lol.

Time to go get a drink and wait for my buddies to get here. Haha I won't live this one down for a while. Be safe out there.

Fuck man, that sucks so much :( that's my worst fear... especially because if my passport is in the safe that would almost certainly be taken just as fast (Canadian passports are worth big $ on the black market), which would leave me unable to get home.

You seem to be taking it well though, and I'm glad to hear she didn't take everything you had (and that you had a great time to offset it, lol).

Best way to think of it... whatever money she stole was basically money you unwittingly paid her as if she was a prostitute, plus an effective guarantee of never having to see her again. Might have been pricey, but I feel like both of those things have value. Especially not having to see her again... I say that has value because say you got her pregnant and she wants child support, what's she going to do? Lol. That by itself saves you eighteen years of who knows how much you'd have to cough up per month.

That's my positive take on it anyway. Hope karma comes your way the rest of this trip and you get to add some extra zeroes to that $600 figure!

I agree. Everytime something bad happens it gets balanced out with good. I just hope I catch you on that heater you're going in with that money.

What can you do lol? It's a beautiful day in Vegas and we'll try to make that other money multiply. Left my cards at least so I can still party down.

    Dude, that sucks so much!
I know nothing of dating apps, but is there any way to trace her by her profile??
Sorry man, hope the trip improves and at least it was fun?

Watch your cc statements closely if your cards were in the safe, in case she decided to copy down the numbers...

Agreed. Leaving the cards behind is the biggest red flag IMO. Modern thieves do exactly this so that their victims won’t cancel the cards (since they’ll think nothing happened)... when in reality they took a picture of the front and the back and have probably already started running up charges.

Never mind being able to add them to Apple Pay easy enough.

Wow. This is the first time I heard this happening on a trip report. That's crazy. Can this even be reported to security? Or is it even worth it?

Make a new Tinder account, match with her again, set up a place to meet.

You’re absolutely correct that this “can” be done... though I feel like that would trigger something on Apple’s end, since cards being added to Apple Pay on an account registered to someone who could not plausibly be Bull (I.e. mismatched name, home state) is suspicious af.

Just safer to clone the cards and go buy gift cards or commodity items (jewellery, electronics, etc) with them IMO.

I'm officially past it. Gave security a heads up just to get her banned from the property to save the next guy. I appreciate all the kind words. Back to business. Get the party rolling again!

That's a total "Dudes being Dudes" thing to happen haha

I got robbed in Vegas once, although in a different way. It sucked but I now have an 'only in Vegas' story to tell for the rest of my days. So, we have that in common now ;)

Lookin' forward to seeing what happens next...
