    My Trip Report

So I'm here in LA on business (I work on the supplier side in the travel industry) and had all of my meetings tomorrow cancel as Travel Advisors are scrambling to get their clients out of all things China. That means rebooking currently scheduled departures, bringing clients back from all parts of China and general pandemonium that sets in when an outbreak like this happens. I was originally going to come back to Atlanta on Friday, but the flight with Delta Suites was sold out, so I moved it to Saturday so I could fly as comfortable as you can on any Domestic flight. Long story short, I checked flights and for a mere 18,500 miles I was able to book RT Biz class LAX-LAS departing tomorrow at 9A returning the following evening at 830P. I have comps at Cosmo, all Mlife props but went with an oldie but a goodie in Paris. I know it's not the sexiest place around, but when I'm traveling solo it just gives me a more Vegas vibe, hard to explain but it is what it is. Looks like I'm upgraded to a Petite Suite with $400/FP so lets go!!

Have a great time. Staying at Paris is great, and Cosmo is right across the street! Win lots!

When the band by the craps tables start playing some Earth, Wind & Fire and the dice are hot it is the absolute best at Paris

I'm sorry because there is nothing funny at all about bad luck, and I think all of us gamblers have had those trips where from the moment you arrive until you depart you do nothing but lose. That green craps felt is often a black hole for my wallet.

But I found this review funny to an extent. The first post you could just feel the spontaneous excitement and optimism that can only really come from a last-minute trip to Vegas of short duration, looking for that big fast hit.

Then a few posts later "well damn..."

So sorry to (semi) laugh at the result, but thanks also for showing us that every storm cloud has a silver lining (all those points!!)...and glad to hear you're getting back up on the horse again so quickly.

Totally agree with all of it, over it now and time to get ready for Biloxi!! Got about $2K in FP there so won't lose everything for at least the first hour or so ;)
